Hakkai will be finding employment, because he's not really comfortable asking his new crewmates for favors (especially when he's one of the new people on their over-capacity ship), the one person he knows here hasn't had a chance to save up any money either, and that gold credit card that's funded their journey is worth precisely nothing in space. Courier or taxi work, depending on how mean I feel like being to him any given week.

He'll also be thoroughly exploring the space station in his spare time, though, looking for clues and any possible routes to escape, because taking everyone else's word for it that there isn't a way isn't enough. I'm happy to have him run into anyone, whether for casual conversation or if they need rescue from shady types.
