Intro! New player and character

Hello! I'm Haunt, and I'm totally new here.

I'm bringing in Kitty Pryde from X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (comic canon AU) with CRAU from MarinaNova (underwater prison RP on InsaneJournal). So, she'll probably recognize some versions of people (which she can always forget too if you'd prefer she not.) It's been a little while since I was on a game on Dreamwidth, so I may be a little rusty where it's different from IJ. I'm excited to be here and eager to play with you all, and it's too early in the morning to think of anything else to say!

Kitty would recognize Greed from previous CR if that's okay. She doesn't know much more than his name and previous game-specific stuff about him. Logan would be very exciting! Her world's version trained this Kitty. She had a strap-on version of his claws until Atroma took them. And I always love Star Wars even if I only really know the movies. I did recently start watching Clone Wars though.

I was very happy to see an evo cast! I've always wanted to play off of a Nightcrawler. He's one of my favorite X characters. Of course this is what Kitty expects with Kurt. Oh, different versions!

hehe, yes, it's basically just the EXTREME version of everyone. Kitty has mellowed some with her CRAU. Actually, she knows his world's Kitty. I'm sure she will be happy (and confused) to meet Kurt.

And that's totally fine! Leia's used to people recognizing her, tbh, though she'll be a little baffled by from where.

Haha I see.... Kurt will have to get used to this EXTREME new Kitty but he will be cool with her nontheless! And aww, it's nice that she knows his Kitty too. That should help things go a lot smoother. Happy confusion all around!

That works for me! He wouldn't even be remotely surprised to hear that's where Damon ended up... Though Stefan is a reincarnation AU, since he's a carryover from savetheearth, so he's not gonna always identify with or act like his canon self.

Heh, let me be more polite and less excited this time around. I'm Past, Evo!Remy comes from a year or two stint in Luceti, so he's been away from being a 'bad guy' for awhile (depending who you ask). So happy to see more X-Men come in from any universe, we always need more.

Ho man, the Gen X portion of AOA was the most tragic of all those stories. HELLO WELCOME I love me some Kitty in any form! I play Nami from One Piece, Makie from Blade of the Immortal, and this little girl Katie, who's an OC that lies all the time and sometimes turns into a small kitten when nobody's watching.

Right? 616 Kitty was too intimidating with ALL the history so I wanted something more bite sized. Went right for the trauma.

I'm canon blind on all of those, but I love getting to know things through RP characters. (Yay kitten!)

Hey! Yeah, she looks aged up! It's hard when they do that and there are icon options but you don't want to switch out of the canon... I did throw in some which I thought had similar face shape from a few others, but I mostly kept the Evo because, well... Evo.

I'll wait if you want to edit the tag, or if 23!Rogue still looks younger than AoA!Rogue (especially with that hair...) then that's cool!

Okay, all fixed up! Yes, it is tricky with the icons! And Kitty looks so serious or wicked or sad in basically every AoA shot of her. So I have tried pulling other versions of her where she has short hair or getting commissions so she can smile once in a while. It all feels odd.

If she's ever run into anyone from Final Fantasy XIV, I'm definitely game to playing along with CRAU opportunities.

I enjoy playing younger Jeannie (or all new x-men variation) and Emma Frost. So basically the two that shouldn't be on the same roster ha! I have an interest in a few others, just never got around to making journals or playing with them. I might consider tossing them up on the TDM sometime. :)

We'll see how this cast fares out. (I hate to swarm when there's already so many new additions so!)
