I imagine anyone's faith would become something complicated when one's younger sister is being courted by a saint.

[He opens a nearby fridge, pulling out a small cheese wheel and some (alien) crackers to go along with them. Neither look particularly normal - in particular, the cheese is far lighter in color than Earth cheese would be - but Stefan doesn't seem particularly bothered.]

So what planet're you from? Most of us're from Earth, but I don't like assuming.

As with most warm-blooded species, heightened emotions can lead to a flushed face and we're near-human, so our blood is red. It's just basic colours from there.

[ she doesn't get any more orange, at least, as she takes a step back, even if that puts her heel against the wall. oh well, sidestepping next time it is. ]

[The little fanfare of music and confetti that signals a new arrival would normally seem kind of fun and cute to Nanako. It's like a surprise party! And party's are supposed to be fun. But this wasn't much fun at all, and Nanako is not a fan of this surprise. She still doesn't really know where she is or what's going on. Weirdly enough, it was like she knows the name of this place, but yet nothing about it. And this was making her all the more frustrated and scared. She wants to go home. She's sure big bro will be home any minute now, and then her Dad, too! And she's really looking forward to having dinner as a family. Big bro would be leaving soon, and she wanted to spend all the time with him that she could.]

[So there's now a small, frightened, on the verge of tears child wandering the corridor of a fleet ship. She's looking around cautiously, hoping to see some familiar face. Or if not that, then at least a friendly one.]

H- hello? Is anyone here?

I- I need to go home. Dad and big bro are going to be worried if I'm not there to greet them. Please can- can I go home? I don't want to miss dinner.
