A) Ship
[After arriving on the Marsiva and getting the rundown of things, she's adapted quickly. Interplanetary travel isn't new for her, and neither are aliens and mysterious circumstances. While it does bother her that none of her friends and teammates can be reached, it's not enough to throw her off guard.]

Hello?

[So now, there's a green skinned, human looking young woman walking around the ship, peering into open rooms and knocking on those with closed doors. If she's stuck, she's at least going to introduce herself.]

B) Way Station
[Traveling alone has been cautioned against, sure, but M'gann's not friendly enough with anyone yet to ask them to accompany her, even though it would be more than welcomed. For her, it's more about the company than safety-- she can more than handle herself alone.

Every so often she stops to glance at stands, stalls and tables of things. None catches her eye for too long, but what else is there to do? Maybe she'll run into someone from the fleet... A little conversation would be nice.]

[ The green girl caught Kara's eye a few stalls away, but she makes her approach when M'gann is looking at a table of things. She stands next to her, also looking, and smiles ]

From the Fleet?

[mgann]

[There's only a brief glance over before she smiles, nodding.]

New. Is it that obvious?

Well, you don't seem native, but I haven't seen you before. Not that I know everyone in the Fleet, but you know.

I'm Kara.

[mgann]

[A teasing reply is withheld, one she happily would have used with those who knew her. Still, her smile remains, content with the friendly chit chat.]

It's always worth a try, right?

[She moves, stepping away from the table to let others through.] My name's M'gann. It's nice to meet you.

[ Kara moves with her easily, relaxed ]

So you just showed up? And you're out and about already? The cabin fever is real.

[mgann]

[That earns a chuckle, and she shakes her head.]

There's no point in staying in, is there? Not when there's an alternative.

I can't say this is the nicest place we've been, but at least it has stuff and it's not the ships. That does get old after awhile.

[ she says that but her voice doesn't indicate any weariness. she's as peppy as ever ]

Where are you from?

[mgann]

It's not so bad, compared to some locations I've had to visit.

[The question gets a small, amused smile.]

Before here, Earth for the past six years, and before that, Mars. How about you?

[She knows looking human isn't indicative of anything.]

Actually, I've been on Earth for twelve and before that was Krypton! My boss is from Mars, if you believe it!

[ her demeanor is surprised but pleasantly so ]

[mgann]

[Her face falls a little when Kara answers, brows knitting together.]

I can, but... Krypton?

[She'll get to the boss thing later.]

[ Kara glides over her reaction, shrugging it off as unfamiliarity ]

It's fine if you haven't heard of it. Most people haven't.

[mgann]

Uh, no, it's not that. It's just... [How does she tell someone she just met that her home planet's gone in her universe. For all she knows, Kara goes back home to visit on holidays.]

There aren't many natives around where I am.

[ The fact that he'd woken up on some place far away with no idea where he was remained on the edge of his mind, but he could focus mostly on Maggie. There wasn't any worry, not when all of his fears had been for the moment wiped away.

He pulls back slightly, still keeping his hand on her shoulder, other brushing through her hair. Not ready to let go completely. ]

I'm here now. That's not gonna change anytime soon.

[ But something that she says has Glenn looking at her, confused. ]

A week? Is that how long you've been here?

Oh, well. Me neither, actually. It's mostly just me and my cousin.

[ Maggie is here. Relief floods him at the knowledge that she hasn't been pulled away again. ]

No, I haven't seen anyone else. I think it's just me.

[ He doesn't know if that's a good thing - them being here and the others not, still not sure what's going on. But at least they aren't alone. ]

This isn't really a spaceship, is it?

Your cousin? [Is that code for clone?] Are you two close?

[ not the most comfortable of topics ]

Yeah. He's... a bit older than me, but we try to keep in touch. We're kind of the only Kryptonians left, so...

Anyway. It sounds like you know about it?

[mgann]

[Ah, there it is. M'gann offers a small, comforting smile.]

I do. The circumstances are familiar. I'm sorry, Kara.

But, one last thing, if you don't mind? Can you tell me your cousin's name? Kryptonian or Earth name is fine.

Kal-El is his Kryptonian name. Our dads were brothers.

Oh, wow. [She stops, realizing they're still standing in the middle of things.] Um, maybe we should find a place to sit before we continue.

[ she's slightly taken aback, but curious ]

Sure?

[mgann]

Sorry, it's nothing major, it just seems like we have a lot to talk about, and I think finding somewhere more comfortable might be better.

[She smiles, sheepishly.] But my world's Superman would be shocked to know he has a cousin in another reality.

Yeah. I didn't wanna believe it but... when I got here others told me that no one even notices it when we disappear - like time stops or something.

[That honestly sounded like the weirdest explanation to her still. He could probably see that on her face too when he pulls back to look at her.]

Getting kidnapped is common among other people in the fleet, I guess.

[And yet no one does anything about it. She wanted to do something about it. That can go on hold for the moment because Glenn is here and he always had her undivided attention. She wasn't ready to let go either. Her arms stay looped about him in a loose hold. It felt like any other day, minus the gnashing and moaning of walkers as a backdrop to their lives.]

[Kai takes a deep breath. It's even easier to get mad at Ryder now that he's not here. Not as satisfying though.]
