No, it's somethign else entirely that's filling her with trepidation as she stand in a shuttle bay. Sure, the implant has given her all the knowledge she could ever need in how to operate the SR shuttle before her. That's fine. It's just that... technology and her haven't always been the best of friends. And now, for some reason, she's been given skills as a pilot. At least if she were a cook a screw up would only get people sick.

Not because of any troubles with breathing, but simply with figuring out how to move. She grew up in a desert, and while she did spend a few days on a watery planet once, she never had a chance to really figure out that whole "swimming" thing.
