There's no part of her that can really believe that she can have someone again after losing them once. But the simple true of the matter was right there in her sights. Maggie's eyes soon locked with hers, and for the briefest of movements she couldn't move. She couldn't cry. And neither could she laugh. Her frozen moment felt like an untold amount of minutes.

The only way her body managed to snap out of it was when Maggie made the first move to pull her into a hug and her body reacted by stepping forward and bringing her hands around to do the same. That's when she could do everything else. A cry of laughter broke out from the pit of her throat.

"You're back." She rested her head on Maggie's shoulder, wishing she didn't have to let go even if sooner or later she would. The emotions she's shown here are just the tip of the iceberg. Sure, she and Carl were doing fine on their own, but it felt much better to have Maggie back with them. Enid was torn without both the people she loved most.
