There's no part of her that can really believe that she can have someone again after losing them once. But the simple true of the matter was right there in her sights. Maggie's eyes soon locked with hers, and for the briefest of movements she couldn't move. She couldn't cry. And neither could she laugh. Her frozen moment felt like an untold amount of minutes.
