[ It's much larger than anything back home. Esthar, maybe, could be comparable? She hasn't had a really good chance to do much exploring there beyond SeeD duty and disposing of monsters, previously, so it's a rough comparison. Small cities here are probably still vastly larger than big ones where she's from -- more population dense, without large expanses of nature between each one. The colors and structure, she supposes, was comparable to Balamb Town and Dollet but... really, she can't draw a comparison to anything she knows.
At least outer space was outer space. Velvet darkness with endless specks of planets and stars in the distance; maybe one was hers? For now, though, this is what she has so she's trying to make the most of it. No whip at her side, she's taken the day to look for one (thus far, to no avail) and her map-reading skills have yet to make things difficult on her.
Unfortunately, other people seem to be dead set on making her frustrated. Case in point -- the man in the middle of the road. Vaguely familiar as someone in the same predicament as herself though his name escapes her and not too large to squeeze around, she knows that it's likely hazardous to his health if he keeps at it. With a faint sigh and arms folded at her mid-section, Quistis circles him and hunches her shoulders so she can catch his eyes with a little dip. ]
You're going to find yourself injured if you keep yourself glued to the street like this. [ The long-suffering, nagging tone of an elder sister. ] At least take a seat outside at a restaurant.
