SEPTEMBER TEST DRIVE

THE FALL TEST DRIVE MEME
(Or Spring Test Drive for you Southern Hemisphere folks!)

Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!

Helpful Info for Ideas!:
  • September's Star System
  • Game Details

    Test drives are posted SEASONALLY, so the next one will be in December!

    [Well, shit.

    Peggy's smile falls, her shoulders straightening, and she almost entirely sheds the facade of drunkenness until she catches herself at the last moment and leans against the bar like she needs it to stay steady.]

    Jason? What are you doing here?

    [Her head is spinning. Jason? Here? In a space reality show? It makes just as much sense as her being here, but it feels so wrong. Jason's not supposed to be the one in reality shows.

    She remembers the last time they saw each other, the rush and the pain and the confusion, and she'd thought she'd never see him again. Her brain stutters, and all she can do is stare.]

    Regretting every second of coming here. [Normally, that would just be a snide aside, his usual grumping, but here in front of Peggy it's laced with pure acid. He's still angry at her in some deep way, something that cuts so far past his usual dull rage, but it doesn't stop him wanting to get her out of here and sobered up.

    How many times was he so stupid as to coax her out of panic or self-destruction? How many times did it never occur to him to think she was a spy? What signs did he overlook because she was Peggy, his best friend, the fellow refuse from a decade in District Ten's team?

    He grabs her around the arm hard.
    ]

    Let's get you the hell out of here before you embarrass yourself more. Christ.
