She has seen sand and rock tumble off into the horizon, large canyons and dipping craters. Though she felt the most comfortable surrounded by green and foliage that reminded her of her home planet, the fun in exploring was experiencing something different.
Deserts, in and of themselves, weren't too different.
Except for one--or rather, several dozen things dotted across the landscape. ]
[ Allura has seen a fair number of battle steeds in her day, as well as other large animals for working and leisure. But she has never seen anything quite like the majesty of these Sharides. She is taken in by them immediately. Who wouldn't be? The variety of colors and styles to their plumage are enough to behold on their own. But the real fun is in the races.
Oh. Yes.
She's likely spent a little too long lingering around the tracks, watching them go around in circles and over obstacles, and sometimes unwieldily off course and into the stands. And after watching them, really, there is only one option left. So suddenly stands, announcing proudly to the person beside her: ]
I must ride one of them.
