Hello Drift Fleet! This is Mari, current player of Haruka Tenoh/

actsmagnificent bringing in Ken Ichijouji from Digimon Adventure 02. He is young and nerdy and thinks everything that happens at all times is his fault, no question about it, nosiree. He is also in the process of working through some pretty heavy backstory issues, but doing much better than he had been previously!

...Which is not hard when you used to be an evil genius with delusions of grandeur.

Koushirou will be super pleased to see him which isn't something that can be said often.

Ken will also be happy to see Koushirou!

...Who will have to either run interference on Ken asking "why bring the two of them specifically" or come along for that particular ride.

Koushirou is completely the wrong person to not enable that sort of behavior lbr. He didn't think there was any special reason for it be just him (because he's not that special, right?) but him AND Ken is a bit of a pattern and definitely worth investigation.

Also because it totally wasn't clear before, it can't be said often that Kou is actively happy to see anyone, not that he's rarely pleased to see Ken specifically. Ken is gr8. He's pretty high on the list of people Kou would actually pick to have around.

Oh, same here - iirc Koushirou is the only one of the older Chosen Ken refers to by last name, which seems to be a sign of respect given how else they interact. I look forward to attempting to solve the Fleet's mysteries ~~and failing~~ together!!

...Also, Ken has the civilian maintenance implant. If Koushirou ever wanted to come by and mess with the Roombas.

Yeeeeees. 8D I love how well they get along and that we actually got some scenes with them at all!

Glorious. c:< Relatedly I think the Vanquish is in the requests for increased crew capacity, so if that goes through and Ken wants to transfer to the ship there will hopefully be room for him~

Oh cool! I'm going to see where he gets Shuffled and how he gets along with the people there, but having a friend on his ship would definitely be a plus in his book. I will keep that in mind!!
