hello. aly, here. i knock around these parts with both peggy carter and sansa stark but now i'm dragging in a third lady to the party: kate bishop of marvel 616 fame. or, err, almost fame. you see, she's still sitting at the kids' table.

kate is a young avenger, an archer, and a new york heiress. she's also hawkeye -- the better looking, better shooting, and way less dramatic one. don't let clint barton tell you otherwise.

oh, yeah, and she sucks at the whole 'secret identity' thing.

As I forever google "name + age of apocalypse" just to be sure where Kitty is on them. But yay, Kate!

LUCKILY, kate might actually be small-time enough to sorta just not know -- depending how in-depth age of apocalypse goes. she'll just skate by on clint's name a little while longer.

It focused very heavily on mutants and kind of wrote everyone else off as died early/never got exposed to whatever. But I always like to check juuuust in case. There were a few issues showing some of them doing things just to help out on the side without powers (not that you have to have powers to be a superhero of course!), but even then Kitty wouldn't have necessarily known.

also i believe it's quite possible age of apocalypse pre-dates kate's addition to anything. that said, she's a quasi-famous social figure -- kinda like new york's superheroic paris hilton. so feel free to do with that what you will! in 616, her dad owns a huuuuge publishing house.

Hehe, there is a lot of that too. 1995/1996 is kind of depressingly long ago these days.

that said, kate's bound to have a passing familiarity with 616 kitty. only what she's gleaned from her bump-ins with other folks.
