What they are like: Jennifer is the medical officer on the good ship Wonderduck. Jennifer is a kind person and is very good at her job, but is also shy and socially-awkward. She's from a science fiction canon so she knows a bit about living in space and inter-planetary travel and meeting other species and all those other sci-fi tropes. Jennifer is also very good at lending a listening ear when people need it. She's about to hit her first anniversary in the Fleet, woohoo.
Looking for: Friends. Jennifer sometimes finds it hard to make friends (see above re: shy and socially-awkward), but she wants to try harder. Getting to know her crewmates more would be super, too. She's generally been feeling really lonely lately because it's hitting her that she hasn't seen her crew- including her boyfriend- for a year now. Jennifer is also available for medical needs, and teaches (handwaved due to time concerns) first aid lessons upon request.

What they are like: Simon is a space doctor from the year 2517 and is the medical officer of the good ship Bloodsport. Simon is a consummate professional and tends to be guarded around strangers, but he is immensely loyal once he opens up to someone. Space travel is normal for him, since sci-fi canon. Simon is also extremely good at his job, but he's a bit more willing to bend his medical ethics than Jennifer might be. He will also be hitting his first anniversary this month.
Looking for: I am going to have Simon make a post inquiring about the augments this month- specifically, he wants to know if anyone has met anybody not part of the Drift Fleet show on any of the star systems/planets/waystations the Fleet has visited who also has an augment. Other than that, more people to open up to, and like Jennifer, he's here for medical treatment if need be.

What they are like: Castle is the almighty janitor of the Windrose, and due to his maintenance augment has a bunch of (named) cleaning droids at his disposal. They're not quite sentient, but the Vision's influence has definitely made them more intelligent than the average droid. He's embraced being a reality star since he's a famous author back home and is kinda used to being in the public eye. He also helps the NYPD solve homicide cases. Castle is a bighearted, kind, and generous man who's not above trolling people every now and then, and is also good at obfuscating stupidity (i.e. hiding his intelligence behind a smokescreen of ditzy cluelessness).
Looking for: Friends. Kids to be a dad figure to. People to booze and play poker with, since his poker buddy Cayde is no longer here. Inspiration for his writing.

What they are like: peggy is an mcu spy from 1947, recently canon-bumped to mid-season 2. although she usually appears polished, put-together, and immaculate, she also has something of a casual side to her that shines best once she's developed some firm cr. currently, she's the first mate and a comms officer on the starstruck. she plays her cards close to the chest, but is ultimately a hero-type and will absolutely meddle in your business if you let her. and, occasionally, even if you don't.
Looking for: i would LOVE someone to be a partner-in-crime to try and purposefully rig the ratings system. perhaps to work together to fake-up some drama in order to save up money, instead of letting the atroma prey on their real tragedies. aside from this, i love developing her network of friends and allies.

What they are like: Pilot on SS Windrose. CRAU from MarinaNova Asylum. Canon from the 1995 X-Men Age of Apocalypse canon AU crossover arc. She's had a tough life with a lot of loss. She's can be kind of rough herself though time in the other game rounded off some of those sharper edges. And not-so-terribly deep down she's pretty caring and protective. She's a mutant with the ability to become intangible—phasing.
Looking for: I am extremely open and thus not very specific. I always like throwing her at people and seeing what happens. It is fun when she gets mad because I don't get to use those icons as much. #priorities But more friends are always good too!

ALPHONSE ELRIC

Characters: Alphonse Elric
What they are like: Al is a very sweet, kind, intelligent teenage boy with a soft spot for animals. He's recently been canon updated to his flesh-and-blood body after spending some months in the Fleet as a walking, talking suit of armor. His body can be weak at times, but he is still a formidable alchemist, is skilled in martial arts, and is security officer on the Vanquish.
Looking for: Sparring partners to help him keep his strength up, friends, anything. Al also loves learning about the types of magic and alchemy and whatnot other people have in their worlds, and about the technology in the Fleet, which is far beyond that of his own world.
Notes: As noted above, Al recently got canon-updated to end of series, where he has his flesh-and-blood body back. When he first came back to it, his body was emaciated and his muscles had atrophied somewhat, so even years later at his new canonpoint, sometimes he needs the help of a cane or a crutch to get around, especially when he's being doing a lot of physical activity. His alchemy is, basically, the deconstruction and reconstruction of matter into new forms, and he can use to to make basic repairs, tools and so on.

SANSA STARK »

What they are like: sansa stark is the eldest daughter of the stark family -- at first glance, she's something of a fragile songbird. pretty and sweet but tragic. she doesn't socialize easily, is slow to trust, and is rarely seen outside her ship (the blue fish). but underneath, she's a rather hardened novice player of the political game. she will lie to your characters, misrepresent herself, and act selfishly all in the service of her own safety and the safety of her kin. she's slowly learning how to let her guard down and find enjoyment in the fleet. that said, she's a proper westerosi lady and is often turned off by any gesture too bold, assuming, or crude.
Looking for: gentle friends! or, perhaps, someone who sees the sly political potential in her and wants to help her hone it. i love negative cr with sansa (she can be very judgemental) so i'm always willing to toss her up against characters who won't be so forgiving of her snobbish tendencies.

Hera Syndulla | Star Wars Rebels

What they are like: SPACE MOM. Badass rebel pilot and no-nonsense leaderly type who wants to get the heck home but understands the need for patience and planning and care. She is the pilot and now CAPTAIN!!! of the Golden!
Looking for: Insert blanket "I will take anything" statement here, but in particular, I would love her to find other people who are wanting to quietly try to find a way out of this situation and back home. This could involve everything from trying to track down or learn about the Atroma, figure out the security systems, try to open up a wormhole, etc etc etc. Also some negative CR would be fantastic! And flirtations, she probably won't flirt back but I love it when people flirt with her.
Notes: Now that she's actually a captain again, expect more captainy things. I mean, really, she was acting like the captain already, but STILL. Oh, and she has an IC inbox.

Bran Stark

What they are like: Very small medieval paraplegic. He likes monster movies and ice cream sandwiches and playing with his pet fox, Beca. If you befriend him, you will inadvertently befriend his entire overdramatic family.
Looking for: Younger friends! He could really use some more pals closer to his age to hang out with.
Notes: He's about to start being able to warg into Beca - for the canonblind, that means he'll be able to go into her mind and run around as her while his own body is unconscious. I'll be doing stuff with this in the next few days.

Obi-Wan is a long-suffering sassy Jedi Master who deserves better in life and probably needs one million hugs but he is partially emotionally repressed. He's really kind, though and loves to help out others whenever he can without a single thought to himself.

Leto is the Emperor of the universe, who sacrificed his humanity to make sure that mankind could survive. He's blunt, tends to tease a lot and has an inside view of every future possibly. But he loves unconditionally and enjoys it when people surprise him and entertain him. He's also very patient.

What they are like: [application] Quiet, shy, neurotic, introverted, self-hating, a bit unstable, with a great deal of empathy and a lot of kindness. Interested in astronomy, music, cooking, and not destroying the world. Currently a pilot stationed on the Heron. Formerly an Evangelion pilot, which is a fancy word for traumatized child soldier.
Looking for: Unhelpfully, I'm looking for any sort of CR whatsoever. His ratings are in the dumps because he needs to meet more people; he's afraid of being "sent home." People around Shinji's age (mid-teens) who can be his friend. People who can be good influences/mentors and help him realize adults aren't all out to hurt him. People who can be pseudo-family figures--especially father figures, yikes. I'd like to get him into gardening somehow because it'd be cute. Anyone who wants to give him therapy is much appreciated, too. Negative CR is also pretty great, since he can be whiny, off-putting, and sarcastic in certain situations.
Notes: I prefer writing in present tense, and I try to answer all tags within a day, barring real life issues. Ling Yao / Greed

Characters: Ling Yao / Greed
What they are like: Ling Yao is a prince that's mostly a nice guy, but he he is very narrowly focused on winning the Xingese throne. He is always smiling and tends towards trollish behavior, though he has his serious moments. Although it's his body, he seems content to play backseat to Greed.

Greed by contrast is as the name implies - very greedy. He wants everything he can possibly get his hands on and that includes absolute power. He comes across as selfish and indifferent, but he does actually care for the people under his command - but not so much anyone else. Greed is ostensibly the one 'in control' and he is considered the captain of the Huntress, as opposed to Ling Yao.
Looking for: Greed is always looking for people to be his minions. Ling is pretty content to just chill, though he works better with characters that are easily wound up.

Alistair Theirin | Dragon Age

Characters:Alistair Theirin
What they are like: Overgrown manchild who was just made king and isn't really liking the idea all that much. Alistair is a really laid-back kind of guy, makes lots of bad jokes, and generally just wants to be a nobody (but unfortunately, being born the bastard son of a king means you'll never have a normal life). He acts a lot dumber than he actually is. He's pretty cheerful but has some serious daddy issues and other things that he keeps to himself. He is currently security on the Starstruck but for the love of god, don't give him a gun.
Looking for: Alistair pretty much just wants people to like him and be his friend. Also he's really easy to get into crush mode with pretty girls who laugh at his jokes, so I'm more than willing to go down flirtatious routes with him (though he's awkward as hell about it because he's a 19 year old guy who was mostly raised in an abbey). BUT negative CR is also fantastic!
Notes: UMMMM idk. Alistair is from a medieval fantasy world where magic is generally treated with suspicion so he probably has some pretty weird ideas, at least relative to characters from more modern and liberal places. So just be aware of that I guess? I love playing out culture clashes, though, so BY ALL MEANS, bring it on! Oh, and he ALSO has an IC inbox!

What they are like: Storm is a mutant with the power to control the weather!! She's from a canon point where she co-running a mutant high school with Wolverine, leading an all-girl X-Team plus her iteration of X-Force (not a murder squad), and rocking her fabulous post-annulment mohawk. She likes plants, chess, punk rock leather, sunbathing in the nude. Things are pretty okay!!
Looking for: I... I'm new! So literally any and all CR would be welcome! She's not new to this "kidnapped into another dimension while time stops at home" situation, so she'll adapt sooner rather than later. Space isn't her favorite, but she'll deal. Please be patient with her!
EDIT I FORGOT she's on the SS Starstruck right now! She has a communications augment. I think those are the important details (??) she won't be happy about cramped shower areas or sleeping quarters (she's severely claustrophobic) but she will deal.
