Canon Bump!
This wouldn't be necessary require a post except for two reasons. One, he's been waiting on this particular update for about five or six years of game history. Two, I'm taking a slightly different approach to this.
Felix will be updating from his current canon point of just before the last book to the end of the series, but I will be doing so in small increments over the course of a month. Outwardly there really won't be many changes to his character except as noted. Character-wise, he'll have a few lingering questions about his fate answered, make a few more questionable life choices, probably save a country, and then get exiled from exile. You know, protagonist stuff. Roughly, the update schedule will proceed as follows, but feel free to ask at what point in the update Felix is if you aren't sure.
Bump 1 - Starting today, Felix will awake after having been bumped just past the start of Corambis after investigating the ruin of a house and unwittingly opening himself up to be possessed/haunted by the ghost of an evil wizard. He won't realize, initially, that the spirit is even there. He'll experience an increased number of nightmares during this period.
Please note: The spirit will be around for the duration of the month, though it is of no danger to anyone and it can only have control over him if he lets it, which will not happen. People around him are free to sense the spirit or an increase in dark/evil/necromantic energy around him if they have the ability to do so
Bump 2 - A week from now, Felix will sleep for half a day and wake up just after his unwilling participation in a ritual. There is no major change, beyond the fact that he'll be aware of the presence of the spirit.
Bump 3 - A week after that (around the 30th), Felix will sleep for a whole day. When he wakes the spirit will be under a mental seal but still be present. Additionally, his old magical bond with his brother will be broken and instead he will be under a binding spell that prevents his access to his magic. This will last until the end of the month (which will be a duration of two weeks).
Note: Canonically restriction to his magic, for Felix, also tends to result in increased sensitivity to magic. He's more likely to feel, sense, or see effects he wouldn't normally. This also includes being able to at least sense or hear spirits. Seeing spirits, however, still has to be done intentionally.
Bump 4 - The last bump will occur around June 5th. He'll likely fall asleep for around two days and wake at the end of the last book. All of the prior effects will have vanished.
