It'd be foolhardy to pursue such a thing further without having any idea which way we should travel. If this world does have a Great Tree of its own, there could well be half a planet between us and it.

I'm not opposed to just exploring the forest for more leads, of course, but I'm not geared for a long stay just at the moment...and meaning no offense, but I didn't get to be as old as I am by wandering into the deep woods with every stranger who offered.
