Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!

[Beverly watches Janeway's struggles with the tricorder for much longer than she should, one corner of her mouth quirked up in amusement. Who knows? Maybe the captain will manage to find a solution where she couldn't. But as it becomes more and more apparent that Janeway isn't getting anywhere with this, Beverly finally takes pity on her.]

I never could get mine to work either, on planets like this.

Mmm. They produce some sort of energy that interferes with electronics and... stimulates fleet members with magical powers and senses. Though sometimes it can affect even those of us without such abilities, though so far that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Stimulates them how? You don't seem too worried, so I'm guessing that I don't have to worry about anyone flying off the handle.

Intensifies their abilities, gives them better endurance... or at least, that's all I've seen here. A previous stop was not so benevolent.
