Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!

[ He shakes his head, sighing. ]

Look man. Here you're at room temperature all the time and you think whatever you do is gonna make him back off and give up on you? After what we all just went through?

There's nothing to give up on. What happened is done, it's not going to change just because he hasn't been through it.

[ All your friends are hopeless, Sam. Especially the ninety year-olds. ]

I know he's not going to back off. He's proven that much already.

So tell me what's really going on.

[ He plants himself very firmly and raises both eyebrows. ]

Things are.. [ hm ] not great.

[ It's partially his own fault, but a disagreement with the girlfriend tends to put a strain on things. Rebuilding trust previously had hasn't really been sticking. One step forward, two steps back. ]

And that's our baseline? Not great?

[ Come on man. He's not going to take this as normalcy. ]

[ He shrugs a shoulder. ]

Shit went down, a lot of people got hurt, and opinions changed.

[ He gives Sam a look. Bucky's pretty sure that he can guess what happened. ]

You went through your bad boy phase again, huh?

[ That's how it is. Sam shakes his head, and keeps walking towards the ship. No point arguing if it hits an impasse, there's always other ways through. ]

If that's what we're calling it.

[ He follows Sam, watching his six and listening for anything that might come their way. After they've covered some ground, he replies. ]

They knew the goddamn words. Or.. found them. I don't know.

[ It's stone-certain. If these guys have a killswitch and press it, they're all fucked, Barnes included. ]

[ Therein was part of the problem. Steve hadn't trusted him to handle it, and Peggy had underestimated him, hadn't shot him when it counted. ]
