[Alexis was feeling the effects of the cramped quarters but as a civilain it was a little more bearable, it felt like her dorm room at times. So she figured put out a feeler video plus if she was being honest she needed to see if anyone from home was here. So cue cute redhead popping onto the video feed.]

Ok, I've joked about going on a reality show but this is not exactly Dancing with the Stars! But in reality I'm curious to see if anyone I know is here so if you're Richard Castle, Kate Beckett, Martha Rogers or anyone from the 8th give me a beep?

Beyond that fill me in? Because my brain is like a washing machine right about now and that is usually a bad sign with me. [For now she's leaving out the having been kidnapped part unless he asks.]

[Castle blew out a long sigh, forcing himself to calm down, focus, though it was hard. He was both relieved that she was here and not- because he certainly didn't want her stuck here.]

God, I don't even know where to begin, baby. You've heard about the part where we're on a space reality show, right? Some folks called Atroma have whisked us away to their space paradise to entertain their audience. ... that's the story they've told us, anyway.

I got that part, sure I've joked for ages about doing reality but this is not ballroom dancing or even remodeling a bathroom!

So we can play piece the puzzle together: what's the last thing you remember dad? At least when it comes to me, grams and Kate. [Alexis was using that to figure out the timelines and see if they were close in terms of memories. It's also biding her time to figure out how to explain the whole having just been kidnapped factor.]

Nah, this is more of a "watch us go about our daily lives" deal. Like Big Brother, except voting off is a lot more random. Fun!

Well... Kate and I were in D.C., helping the Feds with the Dreamworld case. Last thing I remember was blacking out.

Outer space Big Brother, makes sense in a really weird way. Would rather be learning a tango or bathroom repairs but this is kinda normal in our way right?

[Alexis feels the panic but is somehow stable when she figures out she's behind dad.]

And you'll still learn something new. They were kind enough to implant devices in our heads that give us new skills. [He taps behind his ear.] I'm the Windrose's janitor, of all things, though my robots do most of the work.

[Castle then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Those memories were still raw for him- still painful and scary, no matter how much he tried to put it behind him.]

Yeah... yeah, that happened several months ago. You made it out safe.

Robots, that does not surprise me in the least dad. [But she's smiling, Alexis has been part of so many schemes after all.]

[Then cue relief. She was still reliving it but for now it was one less thing to worry about.]

Not yet to be honest but someone did mention I could get my hands on a shutter if I don't land on your ship, so if we're not placed together I'll visit as often as I can.
