canon update up ahead
Hello, flautists!
For the remainder of this month, Theon is going home for a canon update. I’m not hiatusing, so any current threads will be continued as normal, and he’ll return to the fleet at the beginning of the year.
BUT, I should probably give you a quick rundown on this canon update. I’ll be taking him from the very end of A Dance With Dragons. If you’re canon familiar, you probably know what that means. If you’re not, you're in store for a very different Theon, both physically and mentally.
What you'll find when he returns is that his hair has turned white, he'll be missing some fingers, his teeth will be broken, and he'll be pretty gaunt. He really won't look him himself, and his mental health isn't the best either. But he will know his name, so that's a big hurdle already done with.
Basically, he's been through a lot of shit by this point. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but if anyone feels the need to opt out of his tags after this update, let me know.
