[Joshua does not have time for this. Or rather-- he has time, but he doesn't want to spend it on his ship with some crew he doesn't know or care about. So right after the pudding goes out and the jingle happens, he strolls over to the captain's chair without a word and plops down in it.

And if someone else is sitting in that seat?

He'll tip them right out of the chair.]

Out of my way-- I need to make a call. [He whips out an orange flip phone that hasn't seen the light of day since about 2003.] Don't tell me I still can't get service out here.

[II. fuck the wildlife. no, not literally]

[Joshua really doesn't care for going outside the city. It reminds him far too much of his developmental years and that isn't a time he wants to revisit, so he's only doing the bare minimum here. He needs credits, and this guy wants him to bring back a bunch of rocks. Sounds easy, right?

But... man, Joshua really hates getting dirty. And he really hates doing work. He waits for someone else to come along this trail, just playing around on his phone otherwise. It's not like it actually does anything but maybe he has Tetris on there? Who knows.]

Hey. Do you have a minute? There's something I need to do, but I don't want to go into the woods by myself... Think you could help me out?

[Joshua is already halfway into the forest and he's certainly not dressed for hiking, so maybe he's just a kid regretting his decisions. Or maybe it's a trap.]

[The money that he has acquired through dubious means is now, of course, going straight to clothes. He holds up something resembling gothic lolita crossed with something more modern while glancing at the mirror. This is a huge tent full of imported clothes, and there's plenty of fun hats and skirts besides. But he's stuck on this dress.]

Oh, no. This is like the textile interpretation of a train wreck. Why would you sell this?

[The skirts jingle as he holds it against himself.]

And then you had to put bells on it. Now I have to buy it.
