Eugene Fitzherbert | Tangled/Tangled the series

[I. In town]

[One town is the same as any other, apparently. This looks and feels pretty similar to Corona, aside from the random orange-skinned folks about and all. But, this is his first time on another planet, first time among the stars at all, really, and he can't help but gawk a little. He's trying to play it cool, like he's all used to this, but someone might catch him staring every once in a while.]

[II. Eneywa's Bow]

[Eugene is pretty sure he knows someone that would love this rainforest. Well, she'd love the whole concept of this place, being on new planets, exploring -- he does too, if he's gotta admit it. It's fun, having a new life aside from Flynn Rider. Enough about his thoughts on the matter, though, he's also pretty sure Blondie would kill him (or at least yell at him) if he didn't see all he could here, so to at least tell her about it, so if you desire, you might run into him in the midst of the forest, peering at some little lizards and wondering if they'll be as expressive as Pascal.]

[ Rapunzel descends from a nearby tree, using her long hair to gently lower her down on the ground. There's a few leaves stuck here and there in it, but most of them fly out on their own as she tugs the locks free from the branches and it all plops quietly around her. She bounds over to Eugene, all smiles, and twirls him around in a giant hug. ]

Isn't this place just AMAZING, Eugene? Pascal and I found this adorable little flower up in one of the trees, didn't we Pascal?

[ The tiny frog chameleon perched on her shoulder nods, and changes his coloring to resemble a bright orange and blue veined flower. ]

[He can't help but laugh a little, because --isn't this what they've wanted all along? Freedom to explore, do what they want, all that stuff? (Okay, he does miss the castle a little, but at least Blondie's here with him.)]

It sure is. There's no place like this at home.

[She's all smiles, which to be fair is pretty normal for her, but regardless she's clearly very excited about this forest.]

I'm not sure if my mother had this in mind when she told me to fill up the journal, but it definitely won't take long now! Not with all the amazing things we're gonna get to see and do around here!

Nope! All the adventure you've ever wanted, blondie. [Also all smiles, because --it's really hard not to be around Raps, okay.]

And with my two best adventuring buddies! Couldn't have asked for a better place to wind up!

[She glances off to the side for a moment.] It's a shame Cassandra can't be here with us too, though. I just know she would love it too!

Yeah, unless she bored everyone to death. Or stabbed them. She likes that too.

[a soft chuckle] She'd only stab the bad guys, Eugene. [and she boops his nose. for emphasis. yep.]

Yeah, she says that, but I'm pretty sure she's stabbed at least a few of my hairs off.

[Lumière loves the towns and cities of these planets. They're always so full of life and people to watch. Eventually, Eugene catches his eye- mostly because he's blatantly trying to look cool while still clearly being awed by everything. He'll hop over, all smiles. ]

It is amazing, no? Almost too much to take in at once.

[Alright, the talking candle is....new. It's no weirder than a little chameleon hanging out with one's girlfriend, or said girlfriend having magic hair, though, so Eugene here is very admirably not double-taking. Mostly.]

Huh? Sure, I mean, though it looks like one city is the same as any other, even here. Looks pretty much the same as Corona. [He's so cool. You don't even know, Lumiere.]

[Lumière can be forever glad that Eugene's weirdness meter is unusually high. He does like it when he doesn't have to deal with double taking. ]

Oh no, monsieur. The last one was big and bright, full of lights and noise. It was like nothing I have ever seen before. This is more...sedate. Is Corona where you are from?

[He's trying to place the name and failing.]

[It happens, when you're brought back to life by magical hair.]

Uh, oui. It's in Europe. [Potentially Germany. Possibly. Who even knows.]

[There's really no topping "being brought back to life by magical hair", there really isn't.]

Oh. It sounds lovely, quite a beautiful name, no? [But hey, he made a passing attempt at French so that puts him as OK in Lumière's book. Good job, buddy! ] How are you finding space travel? Is it a lot different than what you're used to?

[He probably speaks some! But not much.] Very different. It's -- fun, I guess, but a lot to get used to.

[It's better than most, Eugene. ]

Mais oui. It took me a few months, and there are some things that still stump me about these new worlds. They are fascinating, though.

[He gives a little bow. ]

I'm Lumière, a pleasure to meet you!

[iwantacastle]

[And he offers one back, offering a hand to Lumiere's, uh, candle-thing.] I'm Eugene, how ya doin'.

[Lumière will take that hand anyway, he'll even extinguish the candle-hand he uses too- no third degree burns for you too, Eugene. He'll even flash a charming smile. ]

All the better for meeting you, monsieur.

[iwantacastle]

[Okay, so a candle is trying to charm him. At least he's not sword fighting with a horse.]

Well thanks, it's not often I hear that back home.

No? That is a real shame. People just don't know how to appreciate good company.
