SEPTEMBER TEST DRIVE

THE FALL TEST DRIVE MEME
(Or Spring Test Drive for you Southern Hemisphere folks!)
Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!
Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!
FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!
Helpful Info for Ideas!:
Test drives are posted SEASONALLY, so the next one will be in December!

Yeah, sure. [Not that he really needed her agreement, given that he's kind of already hustling them on over. She's quiet until they're semi-alone.] What's going on?

Speaking of.] I'm Foggy Nelson. Am I lying?

More than that...her heartbeat doesn't even waver. Her breathing is even, hell, she's not even sweating. She really, honestly believes that she's Foggy Nelson.]
...let's take it from the top. How do you know me?

...that's why they call him Foggy, [he murmurs. Matthew Murdock does not get spooked, but he does get cagey when things are off. He's even unconsciously given up on the poor blind man act, cane forgotten where it's leaning against the alley wall.]
So you know about Columbia. What was your graduating GPA?

Matthew huffs out a breath at that; everybody in their major knew that, it wouldn't be difficult to find out. Of course, Foggy had also touted his GPA around like a prize pony, so maybe that wasn't the best question either.]
...I don't know what's going on here, but our lives aren't the same. So whoever you're looking for? Not me.
[Yeah, that's the best bet, head this off at the pass. He can't just- if by some miracle she's not some kind of sleeper agent plant, the fact remains that she's not his Foggy, and he can't entertain the idea that they might be one in the same. Too many problems there.]

You know what, you're right. You're not who I thought you were. [The hell do I know about Matt Murdock? echoes meanly in her thoughts, but she doesn't say it this time. She just starts walking and aims for the alley's opening, and all he has to do is step to the side a little and let her walk away.]

Matt stops her just before she brushes past him, an open hand in front of her shoulder without quite touching her.] No- wait.

...That he shared with the Foggy he knows. Matt sobers a little.] I believe that you aren't lying. There's...something weird about this, but I believe that much.

[But, well. Hearing him say that is a relief, anyway, because she's not sure what she would have done if he'd gone on not believing her.] How long have you been... here?
