Happy holidays to your lips~
✾ MISTLETOE MEME ✾
• You are stuck under a random mistletoe.
• There is a note on said mistletoe.
• Whoever comes within range will be pulled under the mistletoe and also be stuck.
• Now you both have to do what the note says to get unstuck.
The "orders" range from cordial to making out, so state your preferences. Feel free to mix and match them, too. Here are your options:
1. Hug. Easy enough. Can be a simple hug or a giant bear hug.
2. Kiss on the cheek. For those who might be a little shier.
3. Kiss on the hand. For those who want to be...well whatever kissing on the hand invokes. Charming? Dashing?
4. Kiss on the lips. 1-2-3 KISS. This is the tame version of the next one.
5. Make-out for five minutes. As described on the tin.

rather than pull away, like he knows he should and probably can now that they're not under the spell, he loses himself in the moment instead. he knows he's being teased, and that this could easily be used against him later in any manner of cruel ways. but that doesn't seem to matter right now. he parts his lips and takes a shallow breath in through his nose before diving back into the kiss without any hesitation this time. his fingers tighten in kirk's hair as their tongues come together, and this time he doesn't think about stopping until he's literally out of breath. ]

[ Kirk wouldn't do that to Howard, use it against him somehow. For one, he didn't see anything wrong with it, and even if he did tease Howard, it would never been to hurt him. Kirk groaned when Howard deepened the kiss, teasing and playing at him with his tongue and the brush of teeth. He pressed his body in flush to Howard's, kissing harder and harder until Howard pulled away from him to breathe. He panted, licking his own lips, fingers moving to stroke along Howard's jaw. ]
Not the taste I was expecting on you, Howard.

You were-- expecting? [ it takes him a minute to find his voice again, but kirk's statement stupefies him for several reasons. the first of which being that expecting something -- anything -- would mean he'd thought about this before. what he'd planned on being a safe bet may have just been the furthest from. typical, really. his hand comes down out of kirks hair, straightening his already straight lapels for an excuse not to let go just yet. ]

What? You don't imagine what a person might taste like when you're about to kiss them?
[ He flashed his teeth at the other in a soft, but sultry smile, his thumb brushing languidly across Howard's cheek. He let's Howard play with his lapels, not drawing away, but not forcing him to stay either. He thought Howard was a bit like Fenris that way - he might panic if he felt well and truly trapped. ]

[ Kirk watched Howard for a moment, not moving to close the distance again, as if sensing Howard's discomfort. He reached out slowly, touching their fingers, guiding Howard's fingers to his lips and brushing the back of his knuckles. ]
No need for that with me. You know, if you want to do this again.

[ He almost quipped that Howard could have fooled him with the way he kissed and clung to him after. But he reminded himself that was unfair, especially given the mistletoe, and, he recalled, the era from which Howard hailed. Even if he did feel that way, or wanted that sort of thing, there was every likelihood he couldn't even want to admit it to himself or aloud. That thought itself was enough to anger him some, to think of Howard scared of anything, like being himself. Which was just him assuming, of course. ]
Hmm, well, the offer still stands, should you change your mind.
[ He paused for a moment again, considering Howard and squeezing his fingers gently. ]
It's okay, Howard. No one's going to think poorly of you. It was just some mistletoe. I'm sure it's been happening to a lot of people. And I won't say anything to anyone if you don't want me to.
