SPRING TEST DRIVE

THE SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME
(Or Fall Test Drive for you Southern Hemisphere folks!)
Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!
Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!
FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!
Helpful Info for Ideas!:
Test drives are posted SEASONALLY, so the next one will be in June!

[ He's had ENOUGH of being kidnapped, thanks... and if there's no more All Might to rescue them, he's going to have to claw his own way out of here. ]
Of course I'm going to wreck them! Who the hell do they think they are!? [ Oh, here are the explosions. He's getting fired up just thinking about it -- and it's not like he can do this in the ship for obvious reasons. Good thing there's nobody around to stare or cower... not that it'd stop him. ] I've had just about enough of this shit and I've only been here a few days! Where's that fighting spirit, huh!?
no subject
[Fighting spirit, that is! Planet explosions, cannibal monsters, giant beasts- she's faced it all!
okay maybe not so much the cannibal stuffAnd she might still look the same age but she's got two extra years of training now, too.]I'm gonna go on recon with you, then. Or would you rather go find a place to punch it out?
[Notice how she's not really asking.]
no subject
Just don't slow me down, got it?
no subject
[Honestly it would probably be better for everyone if Bakugou was on a leash anyway.]
no subject
Whatever, just keep up.
[ And that's like all the warning you're getting. He's decided he's had enough of this particular area of the ghost town and is rocketing off like a loon. ]
no subject
She can do this! She can keep up with him just fine!!]
no subject
Challenge offered. ]
no subject
challenge fucking accepted, yo
Although this would have been a GREAT time to use those rocket boots if any engineer in the fleet had been ballsy enough to actually make them for her. Maybe she ought to ask around the planet-
ANYWAY, she can't zero her gravity to less than zero, so all she can really do is pick up her own pace, glancing ahead to try and formulate a better path over the roofs to cut her time down. He could easily screw her up by changing directions, but at least moving from roof to roof is easy when she can float.
Thank god for those new pressure point accessories she's been wearing, though.]

Where he wants to go is straight ahead anyway. Once he finds the spot he was looking for he changes directions sharply, rocketing himself down to the ground and trotting over to the mall entrance. It's all deserted, so --
this has got to be shaping up to be some horror movie shit, right? ]
no subject
She's still winded, though, because goddamn running and jumping around is harder than flying through the air.]
Hah... haaaah... what did you... ah... see...?
no subject
I want to see how long it's been since somebody's been here. Map said there was a grocery store in here.
no subject
She straightens up at last and jogs after him, glancing around. Yeah, definitely eerie.]
There's probably still food here... just like everywhere else.
no subject
[ SO FAR... no such luck. But if he can find it, then that'll help figure out a timeline, right? And if there's none then he really doesn't trust any of this for shit. ]
no subject
[Like walking into a bakery or something- newly made and nice-smelling. It's eerie without the people in the shop to greet you.]
no subject
If there are no people then whose putting it there. [ Ngh. ] Probably isn't fucking safe to eat, either.
no subject
[Not surprising- Bakugou's naturally a suspicious person from what she's observed.]

no subject
[She's tried a few things already. Sorry not sorry.]
no subject
[ WHY ]
no subject
[She plugs the ear closest to him and picks up the pace, peering into the window.]
Ah, look at it all! Fresh bread and pastries right at the front door!
no subject
he's stalking inside, grumbling under his breath. ]
no subject
Ugh, and it smells so good, too... once you're stuck in the fleet long enough without fresh food, you'll eat anything! I kinda can't blame anyone for digging in.
[She pointedly does not eat this one, though, because yeah, he's right. There's something seriously sketchy about the whole situation, and it's bound to go topsy-turvy eventually. Plus she doesn't want him screaming at her.
Instead she cracks it over a knee, examining under the crust. Still as tasty looking, still as nice-smelling... damn.]
no subject
[ Hm... Nosing around, poking through the bakery. There's a back room over there.
Don't mind him casually kicking the door in. ]
no subject
Why do you think I was looking, geez! You never know with this place.
[She huffs and dumps the bread, scampering off after him to peer into the room. Looks like... storage?]
I kinda expected a kitchen.
no subject
There's no actual point in sniffing around alone if Uraraka is trailing after him. He steps further inside and checks for a light. ]
Bet the actual kitchen has never been used, if there is one.
