SPRING TEST DRIVE

THE SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME
(Or Fall Test Drive for you Southern Hemisphere folks!)
Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!
Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!
FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!
Helpful Info for Ideas!:
Test drives are posted SEASONALLY, so the next one will be in June!

It isn't until he gets to the glitching that he starts to look a little... worried. The scowl falls away to something resembling discomfort. They really know absolutely nothing about this. They're really, really helpless out there - there's no All Might to get them, and even if they were, how would they even find him?
Whether these are quirks or tech or not, there's so much at play it makes his head spin.
And if they're on camera -- how much can he even fucking say about this? The enemy could be listening, watching. And Bakugou is many, many things, but stupid in the face of danger is very rarely one of them. ]
So, what... we're just stuck here until they decide our cycle's up?

it's not even ego. not entirely.]
We don't know, [aizawa answers honestly.] Some people are content to sit around and wait for that to happen. Some people whose homes are worse than here. Some people without anyone to return to.
[he nods toward the document bakugou's still holding.] But it took over two dozen people to acquire just those tiny scraps of knowledge, and if reports are to believed, others even died for it.

This really, really isn't good. He looks down to the documents, mindful to not crumble it despite all of the feelings racing through him. This... this wouldn't even make a good briefing before a lesson. It's bits and pieces, barely enough to make a paragraph out of what has to be a novel. ]
Damn it.
[ After all of this... ]
And we can't make any concrete if they're watching our every movement and controlling where we go.

I didn't show you this to discourage you. And I know I don't need to impress upon you the seriousness of the situation we're in. [holds out his hand for the documents.] I showed you to tell you that you aren't alone. Your frustrations, your anger, your rage- they're understandable, and they're shared. So don't start off treating the other people in this Fleet as your enemy.
We're all just as pissed off as you.

I don't need a lecture about it-!
[ No, maybe he does. That's why he failed the exam, isn't it? Being unpleasant to other people in a crisis? It's not his fault that they --
No. No, that's the wrong kind of thinking. If Midoriya could go from being a miserable pissant to All Might's successor, gaining all that strength then - then he too has to take these lessons seriously. ]
... Yeah, yeah, I got it.

Good. [shuffles the papers back into order.] Stop snapping at everybody over the communication systems. There's a gym here, go punch a sandbag for a while.

[ Well. It was a good effort. 5/10. ]

this...dumb kid. he's gonna need a much closer eye than uraraka; however self-sufficient he might seem, he's much higher maintenance than first impressions would imply.]
