[ He does. Scowl deepening with every line.

It isn't until he gets to the glitching that he starts to look a little... worried. The scowl falls away to something resembling discomfort. They really know absolutely nothing about this. They're really, really helpless out there - there's no All Might to get them, and even if they were, how would they even find him?

Whether these are quirks or tech or not, there's so much at play it makes his head spin.

And if they're on camera -- how much can he even fucking say about this? The enemy could be listening, watching. And Bakugou is many, many things, but stupid in the face of danger is very rarely one of them. ]

So, what... we're just stuck here until they decide our cycle's up?

[aizawa doesn't move from his spot against the wall; bakugou's shortcomings aren't that he's rash, or that he's reckless or simple-minded. it's not that he's incapable of seeing the bigger picture, or that he's too impatient to wait, no.

We don't know, [aizawa answers honestly.] Some people are content to sit around and wait for that to happen. Some people whose homes are worse than here. Some people without anyone to return to.

[he nods toward the document bakugou's still holding.] But it took over two dozen people to acquire just those tiny scraps of knowledge, and if reports are to believed, others even died for it.

This really, really isn't good. He looks down to the documents, mindful to not crumble it despite all of the feelings racing through him. This... this wouldn't even make a good briefing before a lesson. It's bits and pieces, barely enough to make a paragraph out of what has to be a novel. ]

We don't know how much of that is true. [it can be assumed, but as far as concrete evidence? if there has been any, it's been over a year since they've reaffirmed it. aizawa's not entirely certain atroma is as together as they'd like people to believe.]

I didn't show you this to discourage you. And I know I don't need to impress upon you the seriousness of the situation we're in. [ okay actually he feels better. Being pent up on these shifts is really not good for a kid used to rocketing through the air and exploding things at will. he's never been more aware of the infinite empty vacuum of space as he is right now.

[good, go for it. the less energy bakugou has to yell about shit, the better. aizawa seems pretty busy over here with his phone, so he's got no problem chilling out on a bench over here and just glancing up to make sure bakugou isn't blowing anything up.

this...dumb kid. he's gonna need a much closer eye than uraraka; however self-sufficient he might seem, he's much higher maintenance than first impressions would imply.]
