SS Iskaulit - cleaning and organizing!
Hi folks! Mod Maggie here, and I need a little bit of help!!
As you're probably aware, we still have the SS Iskaulit floating around with the Drift Fleet! Ever since we picked it up, it's become a community space, housing several player-managed and player-run business, areas, gardens, secret getaways, and so on and so forth. It's a great thing to have! You can read more about it here!
What you'll also be able to see is that... the information in the spreadsheet is a little bit outdated.
What you'll also be able to see is: there are quite a few communal areas (or private areas!) that are now without an owner or completely abandoned, due to its previous owner having left the fleet!
This is where I need your help, friends!
→ Would you like to claim a public space on the Iskaulit that no longer has an owner?
Send the mod account a PM and we'll hash out the details, then update the information! We will relinquish control of an area to an interested character that has a good IC reason for wanting to take it back over. Of course, that "good reason" could be to just tear it down and put something else in its place - point is, we'd just like to have a reason behind it! We'll do this on a first-come-first-served basis.
→ Are you a current owner of a space that needs to update your information?
Drop a comment on the Iskaulit info page linked above! You don't have to fill out the form necessarily, if it's a simple fix, but if there has been a ton of overhaul, please consider resubmitting the whole form, just to make my life easier. Please~?
→ Has an abandoned private/hidden area caught your eye?
Sneaky, sneaky! This one will be a little harder to get your hands on, but we definitely want to work with you! Send a PM our way so we can talk it out. Your character will need an IC reason for wanting the space (see point one, though!) and will also have to conceivably be able to find the place at all, or at least have heard about it one way or another! For example, if your character isn't the kind to crawl through the air vents for funsies, they're probably not going to find a hidden room only accessible by ventilation path.

If it gets to be a major problem down the line (which I don't foresee happening at all) then I'll reconsider sweeping and make another all-call about it. As is, everything's fine to stay around without owners/maintaining, but it's sure going to get dusty at the very least!
