Well... I suppose this is nothing more than a new adventure regardless. Has anyone told you about how time works here, or anything else?

I admit most of it went way over my head.

I do understand that my friends won't notice I'm gone though. That at least means they won't be hurting while I'm here.

That is correct. Time stops at home while we are here... I can personally vouch for that. I left for what was ten years for me but only three months here, and when I returned home it was exactly right where I left off. When I was brought back to the Fleet, it was strange to see all of the friends I'd made here again. And my husband as well.

You married someone you met here?

Oh, no. It is nothing like that... I met my husband at home. He is from my world. We were to marry there, but that never happened, so we took the opportunity to do so here last August.

Oh! [He brightens at that.]

[ Congratulations, Sora. You've managed to make Luna go a light pink in the cheeks. She smiles again and giggles. ]

Thank you very much. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to marry the love of my life, surrounded by all the lovely friends we have made together here.

That sounds so nice. I'm glad you were able to have such a nice ceremony too.

[He tries not think of Kairi and fails a bit, so there's a slight blush that creeps into his face.]

It was. Far better than anything we could have had at home, really.

[ Royal weddings were always stuffy... not that they'd gotten to have any sort of wedding because of the situation they were both in, dealing with their destinies. They'd had their wedding finally at home, too, after she'd returned, but that was a quiet, more somber ceremony. ]

I am. He was here once before but went home, and when he returned he did not have any memories of his time here. [ Which had been a little upsetting considering his reaction upon seeing her, having to console him again and reassure him that this was all real... she's just glad that's all in the past now. ]

At home... we were separated for twelve years. Now that I have had him for a year here, I've no idea what I would do if he were to go home.

[Sora frowns at the idea that they were pulled away from each other for so long. It sounds terrible.]

Then I'm extra glad you have each other here. It must have been hard to be away from him for so long.

[Again, he thinks of Kairi and how she had to wait for him. It makes him feel guilty and it makes him miss her.]

It was... we were only able to communicate through a notebook that no one else knew about. I've a dog who ran it back and forth to us. Ah... that reminds me. Umbra, Pryna, come out. I know you are here.

[ There is the sound of toenails clicking against the metal floors as she calls out for her beloved canines make their way over to the duo. They sit obediently at Luna's feet and look up at her, before they turn their attention to Sora. Their tails wag so fast it's nearly a blur. ]

The black one is Umbra, and the white one is Pryna. My poor dears played delivery boy and girl for Noctis and I... they have grown lazy within the Fleet.

[ As if they understand Luna, both dogs whine and stomp their front feet in protest, before they slide over to Sora to properly greet him. Enjoy the cold wet noses on your legs and hands! ]

[Sora looks pleased at the dogs and approaches them and holds out his hand to let them sniff him before he tries to pet them.]

So you have the one who matters most to you and your pets? That's really lucky!!

And these two are so cute!

[ The dogs look as if they are in seventh heaven right now as Sora extends his hand. They both sniff at it and then lick it and gently nudge each other out of the way in hopes to get his full attention. Because clearly they are attention starved. ]

I do... I am extremely privileged. These two have been with me since they were just puppies.

[ They aren't just dogs, of course. They're messengers of the Gods and had been a gift to the young Oracle to come to her aid when she needed them. Not that she plans on boring Sora with all that information.

Upon being called cute, both dogs puff their chests out. Yes, Sora. Yes, they are cute, and they totally agree with you. They flank his sides... you have become their new best friend! ]

[Sora ends up getting down on his knees to be more at their level and uses both of his hands to make sure both dogs get attention. He laughs gently at their antics too, clearly enjoying himself.]

I'm glad they aren't far away from you, then.

[ Both pups are extremely pleased as well. They flank poor Sora and they're eating up the attention, especially Pryna who is a little more spirited than Umbra when it comes to these things. ]

I am, too. They did not arrive with me, though... I received Umbra as a sort of gift of sorts after completing some tasks, and when I disappeared home, Noctis said he received Pryna as a gift from... our esteemed fans, somehow.

[Sora thinks that over, a little confused over that idea.]

They can gift... pets? From home?

How do they even know that you have these pets back home?
