[Deku is watching to, in a defeated sort of way as his tries, desperately, to come up with a way to get his notebook back. If there was anything worth salvaging.]

I didn't think cows could go that fast. But I need to get that notebook back.

[And he's not sure if his quirk can get him that high and far. Maybe one but not the other.]

[Hmmm...]

Want me to throw you? I think we can still catch up!

[Teamwork, Deku!!]

[At that, Deku seems to break out of the stupor he'd found himself in. That's right, he knows how to handle this! Compared to everything else, getting a notebook away from a flying cow should be nothing!

Or it could be their greatest trial yet, who's to say?]

Actually, yeah! That could work!

If you were to use your quirk on me right before I launched myself, that might give me the right amount of distance to catch up to that cow.

[With a bright grin, Ochako offers her hand to him without hesitation. High-five! It's time to fly.]

Go for it! I'll follow and get there as soon as I can.

[Hopefully, the cow hasn't bested him by then.]

Right, let's do it! On my mark, okay?

[He looks up at the sky, scanning to locate the cow, who is thankfully still in the air, and lines himself up with it. Then it's just a simple matter of activating One for All Full Cowling, focusing on his legs.]

Alright....Now!

[SMACK goes her hand on his back, her Quirk activated, just before she takes off running on foot after the cow. It'll take her longer to get there, so she's trying to get a head start to meet him.]

Gooooooo!

[And he's off, flying through the air at a much faster speed than he thought he would be going at. There's a brief moment of flailing before he regains his composure and focuses in on the cow.

There's a brief sound of collision, but Deku manages to grab onto the cow's neck, leading to a struggle in the air as Deku is desperately reaching for the notebook.]

Give it back!

[With Izuku holding on to the cow, it appears to be enough of a distraction that Ochako is able to catch up down below. Of course, that leaves her with a limited amount of things she can do to help...

...oh!]

Hang on tight, Deku!

[She presses her fingertips together, releasing her hold on the gravity of his body; immediately his weightlessness fades, adding a bit of extra weight onto the cow. Hopefully it'll be enough to start bringing it closer to the ground.]

[In a brief moment of forethought, Deku waits until he can feel gravity return to him before clamping down on the cow, starting to pull it down through a combination of the new gravity, plus his fall, and the power of his quirk.

With his yell of effort, it probably comes off as pretty cool.

Of course he probably should have thought about the landing.]

[Look at him go! Oh man, that is pretty cool. Typical Deku, saving the day in a wild, spectacular day.

....

Oh goodness, he's still falling, though. And now, so is the cow.

Scrambling, and thanking her lucky stars that she had a light breakfast, Ochako taps herself and kicks against the ground, floating herself up to meet them in the middle, her hands outstretched. As long as she can get a hand on both of them, it'll be okay...!]

[Deku, in the meantime, doesn't really have a chance to reflect on how cool things looked or the smoothness of his moves. Instead, he is looking around wildly for a way to slow himself down. He can't really spread himself out after all, not wanting to let go of the cow, who would probably take off if he did.

Spotting Uraraka, he reaches out, trying to tag her hand.]

[She grabs his hand, but rather than just using it to help him, she also lets him act as leverage, pulling her closer to the cow so she can smack her palm against its flank. The momentum of their fall still carries them downwards, and now she's falling with them, but now it's more of a gentle, fluttering fall then a deadly drop.]

...Um... is that it? Did we do it?

I-I think so.

[Okay, everything's catch up to him. They're floating down, no one's going to go splat or get injured. He's not going to get injured. Hopefully.]

Now we just have to get the notebook!

[Which is still hanging from the cow's mouth somehow. And looking a bit soggy.]

[Ochako tilts her head up to where the cow's mouth is. Ewwww.]

That's some grip... I was kinda hoping the fall would make her drop it. She must really want that book.

I was thinking the same thing, but she's pretty determined.

[He says as he studies the cow, trying to think of a way to get her to open her mouth.]

I guess I never really covered cows in school.

It's a bit out of our usual expertise...

[eh-heh heh.]

Unless there's a cow villain out there somewhere! How moo-nacing.

[Honestly, Deku wouldn't be surprised. He's going to give the notebook a few tugs, earning some ire from the cow.

Though it's half-hearted because that was a really bad joke.]

Somehow I think they'd be easier to deal with.

[Everyone's a critic. Ochako glances around, then taps her fingertips together; everyone together drops the last foot and a half to hit the ground at full weight. Surprise!

The cow is definitely surprised, so it all depends on how stubborn she is.]

Try now?

[There's a slight oof! from Deku as he lands, not quite expecting the sudden weight, even if it is a short distance. Still, he nods, and goes for the notebook. The Cow had let out a surprised "moo!" as well, allowing Deku to grab it.]

Got it!

[Said, almost triumphantly. Though a good portion of the book is a rather soggy, slobbery mess.]

[She almost claps! Except... looking at the state of the book, it doesn't feel like much of a victory.]

Wow, um... i-it's not so bad! Maybe it'll be okay if we dry it out somewhere!

[Just. Not in the sun, because this place hasn't seen the sun in forever.]

[Take 'em where you can get 'em I guess.]

You wouldn't happen to have a hair dryer, would you?

[If only Todoroki or Yaoyorozu were here.]

Mm, sorry. All I've got here is the shuttle engine, but that's... a bit much.

[His notes would go from soggy to crispy in a matter of seconds.]

Yeah, that could go pretty badly. I guess I'll just have to wait for it to dry out somewhere.

[And then see if anything is salvageable.]

Mm! If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

[Options are awfully limited, but she can't not offer.]

I'm sorry it took your book, Deku. I know it's really important to you.

You've already been a big help Uraraka. Thanks.

[He sighs at the notebook]

I guess I'll just have to start over from scratch.
