Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!

    Oh? I kind of like the nickname. I hope it sticks. [She's been called so much worse than Jabbering Queen. Plus, it really does suit her. She likes talking.] And that's sweet. If it's real.

    I haven't seen it yet but I've noticed that fake things smell a little funny. Like going to EarthTreks or something.

    It is pretty dumb.

    People go inside to climb rocks and pretend that they're outside. They also spend a lot of money doing this. I don't really get it to be honest.

    Why not just go out to a mountain and climb it? There are plenty on your world, aren't there? There are certainly enough on the planets we get stuck on while we're on these ships.

    That is a question for the people who go to EarthTreks. I prefer mountains myself; air, sun, freedom, heights. Okay, I am not a huge fan of heights but I've seen some pretty awesome views.

    [Freya really wishes that she could explain people to Edna but humans are hard to explain. They make no sense.]

    [Freya cant totally tell that this is not what Edna likes doing. On the one hand, she doesn't understand why Edna is bothering to talk to her. On the other hand, she's tickled pink that Edna would spend the time and frustration to answer her questions.]

    So three angels made the mountain?

    [There is a brief thoughtful pause.]

    Yup, I can't argue with that. That is probably the coolest thing ever. And you mean like actual Seraph not just, you know, happen to come from the stars, because I feel like in this place, the whole comes from the stars thing is a moot point. [Before Edna can reply, Freya continues talking.] Okay, that was an awesome answer. Now other questions.

    Oh, this is relevant.

    So I get the food stuff is like, bars, or something. Is there anything else or an alternative option? Like what if I am uncertain that it'll fill me up? I kind of eat a lot. And I am not actually exaggerating. It can be a problem.

    [Edna just waits until the girl is done talking. And that takes a while because this girl can just jabber, jabber along. It's almost like being subjected to one of Lailah's stream of consciousness rambles whens he's trying to avoid talking about Maotelus.]

    We're not angels.

    And food is easily obtained on the planets or you can go to the Iskaulit and hope one of the restaurants or bars there has something that actually tastes like food and not protein globs.

    It's also very apparent that Freya enjoys the light musical notes of her own voice.]     I think that's a matter of opinion. You might not be related to the species but angels also hole religious significance and can be defined as those with powers over the natural world. My belief calls them Shapers. Either way, you shouldn't knock it in a place where people and definitions range from all over. Everyone is going to have a different set of experiences and knowledge to draw from and without the same core basics miscommunication will be common.

    Noted. I guess there isn't a library around here? You know, books instead of computers? [At some point she should look up anything that might be poisonous to her. Not that Freya thinks her species can get poisoned but she has a special set of allergies and she doesn't want to accidently kill herself by eating chocolates distant cousin or something.
