[ It's a difficult thing to imagine - being gone for so long and then coming back. Hermione had known it could happen, of course, but her own uncertainty about it made her feel guilty. She shouldn't have left, not when she had been trying to help so many people, and she knows she can't control it, but all the same...

She turns her head to look at Ignis, frowning. ]

I'm not sure I met her, but if he's happy then I'm glad for him. I think he deserves something good like that.

[Ignis isn't trying to think about it that much. He's already dealt with a return home once. This time, however, he doesn't have any new memories to add to the ones he's sure were there before.

And for that, he's relatively grateful. It leaves a lot of the awkwardness about time passage somewhere else.]

He does, but so does she. She is a good person who was attempting to help others last I checked. I've yet to run into her, but I suppose I will do that.

[He leans down to kiss her lips softly.]

[ Hermione is used to time passing, to the strangeness of it, all of that. She had been a master of time, once, with a time turner just so she could study more and more, but... It's different when you don't have control over it. It's different when it's taking you away from people you care about, people you love.

Her eyes dart up to Ignis and she stops, softening. It makes the ache inside of her seem... Smaller, somehow. He does. ]

Maybe I'll go and see her as well. I'd like to see more people here - it must have changed. I don't even know who is on my old ship anymore.

[ But then she's getting kissed and she blinks, pausing, before she shifts and wiggles a little so she can lean up, her hand on his cheek and her lips pressing against his own. ]

Are you planning on being done soon?

Perhaps we can find her together. She might even be with Prompto.

[And when she leans into him and returns his kiss, all thoughts of leaving from his current position are pushed far, far away. She is what his world is centered on for that moment in time.]

No, no I don't.

It could even be a double date.

[ Which... Is something they should probably talk about, at some point at least, but... She doesn't quite have the energy to try and force any kind of conversation when they've both just come back.

Instead, she lifts her hand, touching his face. ]

[Her comment gets his attention and he pulls back a bit.]

[You opened that door, Hermione. Well, no, maybe he did, but he wasn't sure that she'd walk through it.]

You're saying that you'd like to be able to tell others that we are exclusive then.

[ She feels, suddenly, that maybe she should've had said what she had, and for a moment she hesitates, leaning back and staring at him.

It's time for her to use that Gryffindor bravery that she's been using as a crutch for so long. ]

... I think I would like it, if it was something you wanted.

[He can feel her eyes on him and the tension in her body belies the strength in her voice.

He turns his head in silent thought, letting her words stew for a moment.]

I haven't pressed for more from you, Hermione, because of how things have progressed. I would like to say that we are exclusive with one another, especially since you're the only woman I have those sort of feelings for.
