[That goes completely over her head, at least for right now. The scientific side of her is stifled under the side that wants to keep breathing. Veronica is on high-alert, still frightened and suspicious. She's not moving from her shelter.

Is he...apologizing? Now she's even more baffled. That doesn't...make sense. Galra don't do that. They kill and torture and hurt, and they never say sorry because it's all for the betterment of the empire or whatever. Veronica wavers, confused and thrown by this behavior in a species that she's only known to be murderers.

But maybe that's the point. Maybe he's just trying to trick her. She bites her lip hard.]

And you are entitled not to believe me. I wouldn't believe someone either if the first person I saw was like Sendak.

[He's surprisingly calm, but this makes him mad. Not at her of course; at the fact Sendak invaded their world. This was the very thing the Blades had been trying to stop for deca-phoebs and nothing had changed.

He's aware he can't really turn his back to her; since learning about what had happened to Shiro at Haggar's hands, Ulaz's blade has not left his person, in its sheath on his back even with this attire. He didn't trust the witch and didn't want to be unarmed. He had his reasons, but it might make her more on edge that he was carrying a sword]

I know Voltron. They know me too, so...don't try anything, or they'll know.

[She's confused by this Galra, still very unsure of what to expect or think of him. The polo shirt too is frankly baffling on an alien. It adds an almost humanizing, normal element to him that's just too much for her to wrap her head around right now.]

[It probably means nothing to her, but Ulaz's word is as good as gold. If he says something, he means it]

As I said, not all Galra are like that. I am Ulaz, a member of the Blade of Marmora, an organization of mostly Galra whose goal it is to take down the Galra Empire, of which Sendak is a part.

I have no reason to fight with you about something, much less kill you, which is why I don't.

[Considering as far as they both knew - and was probably the case since she'd been throwing books at him and yelling - they were alone in the library and he was significantly bigger than her, but yet he was still staying where he was, it was definitely a safe bet that he wasn't going to come after her]
