Goooood morning, Drifters. The vampire invasion has apparently begun!

I'm Q and I currently play Ulaz. Making a 180 from that I am bringing in Lord Akeldama from Parasol Protectorate, one of the several series that Lyall and Biffy are a part of. Lord Akeldama is a very old, very outrageous vampire - always dressed just outside of what is considered fashionable at least in terms of color choices. He is Biffy's old master and a "very stylish thorn" in Lyall's side. He likes to speak in italics and if he starts giving your character weird usually food or flower related endearments, that means he likes them.

Also don't worry about him being a vampire. He is a gentleman and a gentleman does NOT bite someone who is unwilling, so not unless your character gives him permission. He has ways to make do here.

Nice. Being a werewolf, Freya is side-eyeing all these vampires but hey, you don't suck her blood and she'll tots like you lol.

He'll side-eye the werewolf he doesn't know too (since he knows Biffy and Lyall), but as long as she doesn't attack him, they have no problems. Also she's pretty much guaranteed he won't feed from her even if she gives him permission because she's a werewolf. Where they are from, werewolves and vampires are partially dead and thus don't taste good.

Also the icon is his impression of werewolf.

First of all, that icon is fucking amazing and Freya would laugh her ass off.

She is not dead. Which, I feel like as a vamp he'd be able to tell. She's technically a werehuman because she was born a wolf and learned to turn into a human. She's also super chill. And doesn't really like the other two werewolves she's met in game so far (I think its those two) because they do things that make no sense to her or her instincts. (Which are based off real wolves and not fantasy things, so she considers it weird Hollywood movie stuff and it confuses her.)

And Freya doesn't like fighting, so there is no worries in that regard.

Isn't it? The fact there is canon proof of him imitating a werewolf.

He should able to tell after spending more time with her. Vampires don't have the sense of smell of a werewolf. But he'd appreciate that she's super chill and not going to try and fight him.

Probably is. Well, if she is curious why the other werewolves do the things they do, Lord Akeldama would be HAPPY to enlighten.

AND SHE IS! Tell her everything so she can understand because it was a SUPER confusing encounter and Freya likes to avoid conflict.

She also has a super fast heartbeat. Like... it beats a lot faster than a humans. I have a bio sheet for her because she's an OC and I did all this stupid research when I was making her because she's also very opinionated so I had to be informed in order to give her those opinionated rants.

Freya is a special person.

For how serious this series is, there is enough silliness to make it perfect.

He will. He's not necessarily an expert in werewolves, but he's been around them enough of them and knows how they behave in polite society that he can answer most if not all of her questions.

Nice! It's always good to have extra knowledge for your character, especially for ocs. I do enough research for non-ocs as it is, like looking up how to properly tie a cravat since that's a major social faux pas for Lord Akeldama, having a terrible looking cravat lol.

That would be good because I want Freya to be friends with them but she's being a difficult muse and I am not okay with that. Well, it's amusing because Freya is the most difficult chill muse I have but I want the CR lol

If you're ever curious, Her journal is kinda a mess with information but all my OC's have full journals because I hate OCs that don't explain their canon. I also have a lot of OCs from Freya's canon because it's an actual story I'm in the middle of writing so the whole world is fairly fleshed out.

tbh I have such a long commute I thought I was never going to get through the first book until I found the series on Audible.

I think I remember seeing Biffy's player plurk about the issue and Lord Akeldama would definitely know about that so that might help them for next time. Make it is a little less difficult.

And he'll like having Biffy around, even if it will be weird a little at first. Once he has settled and has income, he'll probably start setting appointments with Biffy to get his hair done right.
