The Drift Fleet Date Auction!

Hi, everyone!

Heads up that Minako is going to be broadcasting about running a date auction!

Not really sure what to raise money for, yet, unless we want to do this as a way to raise money for supplies before leaving this system, or one last major set of upgrades to the Iskaulit (as this is the last month to get those). I'll be taking suggestions in the thread below (and maybe posting a poll some time this weekend, and you'll have about a week to respond).

In the other thread, I'm going to post for sign ups. Feel free to poke around to each other on this post to plan possible pairings and dates if you want a particular set up for a win. Also, I'm going to give people the option to be be RNG'd together as a pairing. If there's an odd person out, then you'll get a lucky date with the auction MC herself!

That said, I'm going to be setting up a form in the requests threads. I'd like to know preferences as far as comfortable age ranges for your character, if you're comfortable with the idea of the thread maybe going a bit further than just a dinner date, m/m-m/f-f/f-any pairings you might want... etc, etc. If you're not comfortable posting it openly or have extra information not in the form that you don't want others to see, feel free to PM Minako's journal.

I'm going to give it about a week for people to sign up to join in.

Then, a few days after everything is decided on an OOC basis, Minako will be broadcasting her announcement for the auction itself! Characters can respond ICly to the post, sign themselves or each other up (for those players who want in, but don't think they're character would willingly volunteer), or tease Minako for doing this in the first place. A few days after that, the auction mingle will go up with a section for all the intros and bidding and mingling you guys want to do! This final post will likely go up in about two and a half weeks from now if the timeline works out for voting and sign ups, so that's the weekend right before we start drifting again.

Fundraising Suggestions

Ship upgrades? Weapons, etc... Iskaulit upgrades? Stock up on supplies? Upgrades to the passengers' private network? Pick your poison! All suggestions (and potentially others I can come up with in the next few days) will be posted in a poll this weekend for the players to all vote on.
