Hi everyone! Fresh meat coming to the Fleet. My name is Kenkai and I'm bringing you Kairi from the (in)famous Kingdom Hearts series. She's coming in at the end of Dream Drop Distance, so she's up to date on all the canon shenanigans. Mostly.

I've been told this place is pretty effing nifty, so I thought I'd join in and see what all the fun is about. I'm looking forward to tagging with all of you 8)

hi hello! :D i'm Kari, with this nerd here you might know. he's behind everybody tho, from the end of KH2, so he will be fully expecting Kairi to hate his guts, even tho Riku's told him he's destined to be one of the good guys.

i actually have a question! are you familiar with the manga/novels? i just don't want to reference anything from them and have you be confused or whatever. looking forward to playing with you!

I am a tiny bit? I've seen a handful of panels mostly of Kairi being a boss, I had to look. But I am not intimately familiar with them, besides knowing they flesh out the game canons a lot. I take it your Axel is taken from the manga?

Kairi is totally a boss omg i use manga icons cuz he's a lot more expressive in the manga, but in general i just like to supplement my interpretation to include the expanded canon sources. i know not everybody's familiar with them, though. one of my favorite scenes from the manga tho happens to be after Axel kidnaps Kairi, and she just bites the shit out of him, it's really funny. Axel and Kairi talked a lot more in the manga than they did in the game, though, and he actually went back to the castle to try and bust her out when she was being held prisoner, which kind of changes their dynamic a little from what the games showed us. so i didn't want to just presume you knew, but i could look up the relevant chapters if you're interested!

it's so fucking great That makes sense! I do like a lot of Kairi's manga icons, especially the weirder ones. Aww, Axel 8( YOU'RE TOO NICE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD SOMETIMES.

And that would be awesome, if you wouldn't mind! I've actually been meaning to look more into the manga, as it really looks like it improved on the games? And more Kairi so win win.

• Kairi getting kidnapped. there's some silliness with Saïx and Vexen as a bonus.
• a dialogue and Saïx beating Axel up like a jerk. the translations are a little wonky, but you get the idea.
• Kairi jailbreak! with bonus Demyx being hilarious.
• more jailbird Kairi + Demyx and relevant Axel.
• still more jailbird Kairi being badass, and after this chapter she's reunited with Riku and becomes a more permanent fixture in future chapters.

I'm Stick, and I play a bunch of OCs. Robin's the one who'll probably bother Kairi the most. He's a... literal demigod of angst and pain, but he's trying to be a nice guy about it. :< He's good buddies (?...!?) with Riku, so he'll definitely want to know her by proxy.

I also play Krista, a gothy fairy teenager, and Zhas... who's a dude who paints his face like a skull because vampires happened and yeah. WELCOME TO THE GAME, I'm excited for more KH shenanigans!
