[Fluffy...slugs. Lailah isn't sure whether to be charmed or creeped out. Heck, she's not even sure if she wants to touch it. Eventually, the fire seraph decides that she'll likely regret it if she doesn't try it once. So. Lailah picks up the little slug. Although, "little" doesn't really cut it for something that's the size of a rabbit.

It's kinda squishy, but super fluffy and soft. It also seems to give off a somewhat soothing aura, which helps her to overcome any trepidation she feels towards it.]

Awwww, what a cute little slug! I didn't think they could get so big, either.

[The worlds out there among the stars are strange and mysterious, indeed. Lailah turns to your character with a smile.]

[When bored, Lailah has a certain hobby she likes to indulge in. It's totally harmless, of course! Well...harmless to her, anyway.

Right now, she's both feeling bored and like everyone can use a little bit of nice encouragement. Best to keep everyone's spirits up, right?]

You know, despite the augmentations we were...given—[Look she's doing her best to be diplomatic about this.]—there are an amazing amount of opportunities to keep busy on our ships, and to expand our own skill sets. I've never piloted anything before, and it's kind of nice to learn something new.

It's hard to live here, especially so far away from home. However, I think that as long as there's something to keep our spirits up, we'll be alright. And making friends can help you to stay adrift.

Oh my gosh, absolutely! Lailah, we went to this amazing place called a 'space station' and there were so many types of people there! And they had a library with volumes and volumes of hundreds of thousands of cultures and star charts and maps of ruins on distant planets- I mean, it only could've been better if I'd actually gotten to go there!
