Here's how it works:

how much time does it take him to put his face on

It depends! He's been painting this same skull on his face for about ten years now, so it only takes him a couple of minutes to make it look nice. The fastest he can put on a full face of makeup is about forty seconds, but it's very slapdash. It's for, like, quick change emergencies.

He sometimes paints more intricate designs on his face for special occasions, like... ceremonies and executions and stuff, but those are pretty rare and he doesn't go crazy or anything so probably wouldn't take him longer than ten minutes, tops.
