inaugural meme!!!!

stolen from [community profile] maskormenace. thank u

just what the fuck is happening here

questions meme!!!

Here's how it works:
1. POST a top-level with your character name
2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for the character(s)
3. ANSWER the question you were asked
4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!
We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

So what you're saying is, he does this a lot:

XD Also, by the way, I look forward to the day Cecil gets sex-swapped (back to canon!) because of game shenanigans, hahah. Poor Riku!

Cecil wishing for other kinds of power is a real "been there, done that" sort of matter for her. Court was a place where everyone was competing for miracle-granting power and Cecil was made to believe through brainwashing that she had chosen to go to Court of her own volition. The reasoning that she came up with to justify the feeling that she had made that choice was that she needed to win the competition in order to basically do what happens originally on Mount Ordeals: get rid of the dark side to her nature. That wasn't true and she knows that now, but even while she was still in Court, she came to let go of the idea of leaving behind the Dark Knight persona. She made friends with a Tyki Mikk from D. Gray-man who helped her accept her dark powers and come to understand that just because she had been made to do evil with that power ultimately did not mean that she couldn't still use it to help and protect people for good.

Now that she basically has double the abilities that she had before Court, plus a stronger resolve and more wisdom, she's pretty satisfied with her lot, in terms of position at home and her powers. She doesn't want anything else. She's good, hahah.

Does Riku know a lot of magic? :O How does Riku really feel about himself?

That is a great example of what he does, yes! XD

And Riku will defer to male!Cecil so fast. So, so fast, with a fair amount of fear. His dad is not nice at all.

UM. Riku was taught by Maleficent about magic so despite his divergence in alliance, he jnows far more about dark magic than light magic. He knows dark-tinted spells inside and out, if his spells are ever returned Dark Firaga would be the first thing he'd be able to cast because that's just his skill set. That said, he's very proficient at magic and has about as wide a range as Sora when he previously had around five. If nothing else, he picks up magic EXTREMELY FAST.

Also ahahahahahaha Riku does earnestly hate himself. It's not for attention, it's not Teenage Angst. The only person he hates more is Master Xehanort, who orchestrated the entire KH plot. He hates himself so much and shows himself absolutely no mercy, completely and totally blaming himself for nearly everything that happens in canon because he really just can't stand the hands he had in the plot. He doesn't want to forgive himself--in his opinion, he did the lowest of the low and is worse than scum for betraying his best friends. He deserves everything bad that happens to him in his eyes and he doesn't quite understand kindness towards him. During CoM he insists that the King destroy him if Ansem wins the battle over his body/heart, and I fully think he wouldn't have regretted a thing if Mickey went through with it. The only reason he counts himself as still worthy of being alive is because he has people to protect, but because he gives himself no mercy he is pretty much 100% okay with sacrificing himself to save anyone he cares about. He takes the kindness of others as either polite lies or incredible kindness (and when it's the latter he perceives himself as a burden), and his constant flinching is because, well... Not only have most adults been violent to him, but he does not expect anyone to not be as ruthlessly awful to him as he is to himself. Not everyone in the world is a beacon of kindness like Sora and Kairi, who forgive him. He is more than ready to accept due punishment for his horrible actions, and more than ready to repent by upholding justice as he can.

Tl;dr Riku has serious suicidal tendencies because he hates himself so much, not because of trauma, though that DOESN'T HELP....

How does Cecil feel in regards to Rosa and Kain, and would that change in Drift Fleet?
