I know what coffee, but I'm quite sure we don't have machines simply to produce coffee.

[No, pointless is those little mouse droids that the Empire loves so much. They are kind of cute though.]

... then... how do you make coffee?

Don't you simply grind the beans and have them prepared?

[ Isn't that how coffee works? ]

Yes. You prepare them in an espresso machine. Beans go in, latte comes out.

[It's not a difficult concept to grasp here.]

I can't say I've ever seen such a machine before.

[No. That wasn't him anymore. He is Vader now. Right hand to the Emperor and official breaker of shit. That part of him died a lifetime ago. Burned away in fire and hate.]

That doesn't get me coffee now.

[Seriously man, building things takes time. He needs materials and tools and he's thirsty right now. He needs coffee, it gets him through the day.

[Well for a start, his manual dexterity isn't exactly as good as it used to be... for some reason. Plus, you didn't suspect his ties to the force helped him build shit? Because it totally does.]

Now... where do I find parts?

You can try one of the shops. Or scrapyards.

You take the shops, I'll check the scrapyard.

[Because you couldn't tell good scrap from your elbow. Or his elbow really.]

I'll need tools and beans.

[ Obi-Wan gives him a patented disapproving look before leaving. ]

[The only thing making this worthwhile is knowing that deep down, he's annoying the shit out of you right now.]

[Okay, going to the scrap yard was better than he expected and he comes back with more than he probably needs. Not that he's carrying any of it, that's what the mind-tricked lacky is for.]
