[ There are masks fit for a king that Richard will have to look into later--probably only to find out that he doesn't have the credits for them. Life is hard, but at least the moon people are making the best of it. ]

Total planetary pollution, and you're thinking in terms of single years? [ ... ] It might be more appropriate to think in decades. Centuries, perhaps.

Oh, it can't be all that bad. The peasant families all birth at least one child a year anyway. Allow them to do their thing, replant the crops, it will work out fine.

[ she turns on one impeccably heeled foot. in spite of the mask, it's not hard to detect the less-than-faint notion of disbelief -- both in her muffled tone, and in renewed stiffness in her posture. ] I'll say, I've not noticed such a particular class division on this moon as of yet.
