Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player! Applications for new players open April 1st.

Okay, I didn't think this through.

I guess it's new territory for both of us.

It definitely is. And we're definitely in space, which is weirder than it should feel, right?

It's certainly not what I expected. Have you been to many other planets?

[ He certainly didn't think there was other life out there. That's what made his time on Earth so momentous. ]

Before now? Just Krypton and Earth. With the Fleet, I've been to more stations than planets. But I've met a variety of people?

Apparently there are other superheroes as well.

[ Blows the mind. Clark is so used to be the singular. That it was only him. ]

I spent so much time trying to hide who I am—I'm sure you relate—it's kind of strange. I don't really know whether to keep up the dual identities thing or not.

[anewhope]

Neither do I.

[ He pauses. ] I mean, it can't hurt. Here.

[ Though hiding is second nature at this point. ]

It's hard to let go. It took a lot of work to adapt, for me.

When I was younger, my powers flared up during class. Everything was . . . too much. Too big. I had to lock myself in a closet.

That's why my foster dad made these lead-lined glasses for me. Sounds like they would've helped you, too.
