I'm willing to take it if it means I get to wash off.
[ He tries to swipe more of the mud off, but at this point it's not doing much more than smearing the stuff around. He takes Eames' hand gratefully and leverages himself up, feeling mud move in places it really shouldn't and shivering. ]

[It was a compliment laced with amusement, Eames hefting up the other man. It was hard to take this sort of thing to heart, since the whole mud fight had felt ridiculous, his mouth quirking up slightly at the corners.
Though that quickly morphed into a full grown grin, a few chuckles escaping his mouth at that.]
All this technology and I still have to help? That's disappointing, but I'll do my best.
[He headed towards the edge of the mud pit, careful not to slip and fall again.]
The mud was the real victor in this match, in that case.

Some things a machine really just can't do as good as human hands.
[ He followed, the mud sucking at his legs as he got out, making him shudder. ]
The mud always wins, one way or another. Sometimes a man just has to accept defeat.
