So, Syeira is kind of like this combo of BFF and little sistery figure- in the sense that he feels the need to offer his guidance and would go to bat for her in an instant, without question. He has tons of respect for her, even moreso as he's realizing all the burdens that she carries, and I guess more than anything else, he wishes she could see in herself what he sees in her.
