I was deemed to be an asset so, they sent people to collect me and failed. Ended up joining up with the people who rescued me.

[It's almost worth it to think about what her dumb brother would try to do to keep his 2000+ year old little sister "pure". Of course, his overbearing attitude could get annoying, but she knew that he loved her more than anything in the world. And the feeling might have been mutual.

I can't say if it's the same thing, but the last time we encountered this, it had something to do with something far, far beneath the surface. I'm hoping we can gain the trust of the locals enough for them to point us in the right direction. Sorey and I tried to explore as deep as we could get, but even with the armatus, a human body can only handle so much pressure.

All of us have received a mental augment to better fit with the ships' needs---I'm an engineer, my skillset was merely updated. And Mikleo's useless if anything requires heat.
