Drifting away~
As of this post, the Fleet is now pulling away from the Lato'li, headed to parts unknown. The Interceptors are staying behind, still assisting the locals where they can. And Zhade will be tagging along with them!! It looks like there's a happy ending for everyone this time around, too.
But how involved was Atroma? What did they hear or see, and what did they completely miss? Stay tuned and find out next season on Drift Fleet 12!!

Thank you so much, players, for being amazing as always! The fleet is now Drifting, and if we could have your attention for a moment, we have some announcements to make and a POLL for you to answer!!
We've all survived October and November, with this hellish planet that was meant to be a ~high stakes season finale~ that would have viewers across the universe on the edge of their seats! What a wild ride!! Ratings have shot up! Atroma is pleased! But that isn't what's most important. We know that December is a crazy month for everyone (retail, school, family, holidays, etc) and we are very aware we just hit y'all hard with some heavy plot. So, for the sake of our players, the mods want December and into January to be as chill as possible. That's where your choice come in: Would you rather Drift for an extended period of time, or Drift for the standard amount of time and have a no-pressure, fluffy system for December? Here is a better breakdown of the options:
Extended Drift would involve being in drift from 11/26 (today) until approximately 1/5. The Fleet would be non-stop drifting during this time, giving plenty of opportunity for ship and crew CR to blossom. People can take their time talking to each other, doing things on the Iskaulit, visiting the random generic space stations littered along their travel path. There would be no mod-given plot, so players have the freedom to do whatever plots they'd like without the worry of interruption or conflicting schedules.
A Fluffy December System would involve being in drift from 11/26 (today) until 12/11 (plus or minus a day or two, depending on mod availability). The system we create for December would be very low-pressure, incredibly fluffy. There would be no major overreaching plot points or frills, there would not be any references to Atroma or any information to dig up on them. If there is any plot, it will solely involve this system, and it would not be any more severe than, "Oh no, someone ate all of the cake! Whatever shall we do?!" Or, you know, something else as low-key as that. We would likely draw from a player-made and suggested event - which, submissions for this are always open, so feel free to do so! We would remain in this low-key system until approximately 1/5, at which point we would start Drifting once more.
As a reminder: there will be NO AC FOR DECEMBER, everyone will receive a pass!
Either option has vast potential for player plots and the building of personal CR, which is the ultimate goal of this choice. If you have any questions about either option, let us know in the comments below. Please use the poll below to vote for your choice - and please only vote once per player! We will be closing the poll one week from today (12/3) so that we can plan the game's December accordingly.
Again, thank you so much for being an amazing set of players! You continue to amaze us mods with your creativity, ingenuity, patience, kindness, and willingness to work with us to make this the best game we can hope to make it!
