• You are stuck under a random mistletoe.
• There is a note on said mistletoe.
• Whoever comes within range will be pulled under the mistletoe and also be stuck.
• Now you both have to do what the note says to get unstuck.

The "orders" range from cordial to making out, so state your preferences. Feel free to mix and match them, too. Here are your options:

1. Hug. Easy enough. Can be a simple hug or a giant bear hug.
2. Kiss on the cheek. For those who might be a little shier.
3. Kiss on the hand. For those who want to be...well whatever kissing on the hand invokes. Charming? Dashing?
4. Kiss on the lips. 1-2-3 KISS. This is the tame version of the next one.
5. Make-out for five minutes. As described on the tin.

[Just because Justice can last forever without food and water doesn’t mean Cyril can.]

[Because that is still what matters most to Cyril - established consent is always vital for this sort of thing.]

I do not know how I feel about the idea. I do not have extensive experience with physical displays of affection. I have barely done more than hold a mortal’s hand.

That said, it is a practical matter. Besides, just because it is new does not mean that it will be unpleasant.

I would certainly hope that I would be able to make ti pleasant, but taking something from you without permission is wrong.

We could start with something gentle and fast? And work to what the note is asking?

[Justice turns his lyrium ring on his finger. That’s the only obvious tell of his apprehension.]

Very well. If you believe that would be easier. [Justice has literally no idea what he’s doing. He’s going to go along with anything Cyril says at this point.

...What is he supposed to do with his hands right now?]

[Cyril settles his hands on Justice's arms and then carefully guides the spirit's hands to his hips.

He leans up to kiss Justice gently. It's a very warm and innocent gesture. When he pulls back after and looks at Justice to see how he's processing it.]

[Thank goodness the elf is giving him some guidance, because he’s hopeless. Justice leaves his hands where Cyril put them, closing his eyes and letting the kids happen.

He is not the most active kissing partner, too focused on just processing the feeling.]

It is soft. [That’s his strongest observation. He hadn’t expected lips to be so soft. It’s definitely not unpleasant, at the very least. Strange, but not unpleasant.]

[Cyril smiles at that because it's certainly better than Justice thinking it was gross.]

It helps that I take care of my skin.

[Justice frowns in thought, considering the experience more before nodding. It’s strange, but not bad, and it’s practical. Justice can deal with it for practicality, especially now that it doesn’t feel so anxiety-producing.]

Very well. We can escalate.

[Although Cyril will have to forgive him if he just stays in the follower role for now. Justice is comfortable enough to continue, but not enough to take control.]

[Cyril doesn't seem to mind taking charge at all. He reaches up and touches the side of Justice's face to help guide him towards the kiss again.

This time it's more than just a sweet little peck. He deepens the kiss, guiding Justice to open his mouth and explore a bit.]

[This is all very close by Justice’s standards. It’s strange to be touched on his face, and if this hadn’t already been preceded by a kiss, he’d probably be uncomfortable with it.

He’s more active during this kiss—not taking control, but responding, careful and curious and inexperienced. The elf’s tongue is definitely a new sensation, nothing like anything else Justice has felt so far. He parts his lips, but he waits to observe what Cyril does before becoming an active partner in this new stage of the kiss. This is strange, but not bad? He thinks, at least.]

[Cyril lets them both get used to each other, and finds that he oddly enjoys kissing the spirit.

When he parts, it's mostly to check on how Justice is feeling.]

Still all right? [He asks gently, still close to Justice as he speaks.]

[Justice considers, appreciating the elf's conscientious approach to this whole thing. It makes it easier, though now that he's waded in, it's not so bad.]

It is not unpleasant.

[It may come off as rude or blunt, but that's just Justice's way. 'Not unpleasant' is much better than he would have expected.]

[Cyril chuckles very gently, more amusement than at Justice's expense.]

True praise.

[Then, after a moment, he grows more serious.] The instructions give us a required time frame. Do you think you'd be all right trying for it now?

[Justice nods, more confident now.]

Yes, I believe I would be.

[It's not that big of a deal. The kissing isn't bad, just another part of mortal life that Justice is unfamiliar with. Now that he's gotten over the initial hurdle, he's curious instead of anxious.]

[Cyril smiles at that and closes the distance again so they can let the kissing evolve to making out. He doesn't have a timer of any kind but they can guess when it's close to the required time.]
