Character: Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane (Voltron Legendary Defender)
Age and species: Around 27, human (slightly enhanced + robot arm)
Ship and augment: Captain and pilot of the SS Blameless
Brief description: Pilot/astroexplorer/fighter/hero from ~the future~. Shiro can be bit serious some times, and is always very responsible, but he's learning to relax here and be his old self again. He is a dork inside, has a weird sense of humor, is a natural leader and will big bro the hell out of anyone. Always eager to explore and see more SPAAAACE. Also, let him apologize for his cast. (Btw his backstory has some dark stuff - I don't drop it out of nowhere (it isn't IC anyway) but let me know if you have any triggers when it comes to panic attacks, brainwshing, torture and imprisonment.)
Points of interest this month: TEAM STARSTRIKERS! GOGOGO! Of course he's joining that one, have you seen that description? Totally felt called out there, tsk tsk. Anyway! Shiro is joining the space team and mostly doing races and some sport activities, you also board games. Sue him. The activity I want to propose is arm wrestling! He'll be great at that, even with his human arm. It's canon that he gets very popular and gets tons of fans fast so he won't need a job, he'll get plenty of money with merchandising. >>; But when he isn't doing competition stuff he's open to go exploring, skiing or visiting the beach. For bonding moments, your character is free to notice that he wears a full body swimsuit for the water parks and the beach; and he's doing sports like running or anything ball related, but not boxing, wrestling or anything fighting related, even if he'd be amazing at it and his team would insist to send him to those activities. He's uncomfortable by those so... topic of conversation there if you want it for dark past sharing. The word "Champion" isn't very welcome either.
The usual routine: Shiro wakes up REALLY early for a morning run, on the planet or the Iskaulit if we're drifting. He walks his purple dog Procyon, even takes him running with him. Often goes to the Iskaulit gym, and he'll speak highly of the pool but suspiciously never be found there. He visits his castmates on the other ships too (those are: Huntress, Bishop, Heron). Feel free to say your character has come across him during these activities, maybe exchanged "hello" and names.
Looking for: Closer friends! He needs to deepen his bonds and open more to people beyond the "I'm nice and helpful to everyone DO YOU NEED YOUR KITTEN RESCUE FROM A TREE?". And more friends in general since he's Mr Busy. People who take him out to have fun. For this planet, team members and other team opponents would be great. He doesn't show it often but he can be competitive too! Maybe your character wants to get some good money? Then make Shiro sign some t-shirts, pictures or flags. He's popular like that.

Age and species: 29, half-elf
Ship and augment: Goldstone, tactical
Brief description: Tempest is a grumpy, short-tempered and easily moody mage who's default is "annoyed at existence". She's closing in on being here for two years and that makes her Oh So Happy, so she's not exactly thrilled about being a veteran fleeter. Despite this, though, she's a good person at heart if one of her moods doesn't put you off! She tries to put forth effort at times, and even goes as far as trying to be "good". Sometimes.
Points of interest this month: You'll find Tempest avoiding any competition (unless it's a drinking contest) and hunting for fun, or immersing herself in the less savory side of the planet. She wants nothing to do with your competitions and your color-coded team nonsense, thanks, which really means she's can be dragged to different things if you nudge her enough. She can also be found deep in nature, looking for new plants to add to her little garden, or looking for parts for her (still broken) prosthetic.
The usual routine: Her usual routine usually involves tending to her plants on the Goldstone, going to the library to read, or alternating which bar she's going to spend a few hours drinking at. Sometimes she'll catch a nap in the big garden too.
Looking for: People she can mother at, people who will call her out on her mile-long list of bullshit. People who will drag her out to do things she doesn't want to do in the name of fun. Stupid rivalries. Even stupider arguments.

Ship and augment: Caprine, personnel and captain
Brief description: Baku is a baku, aka a dream-eating spirit. She appears usually as a tiny, Japanese schoolgirl who seems bored with life and deadpans almost everything. In actuality she's super old and super loves humanity (and other creatures!) and will very honestly tell you how much if you ask. She also has a tendency to tease and troll, and has an inhuman ability to keep a straight face no matter what.
Points of interest this month: Baku is more of a watcher than a participant so she'll excitedly keep neutral and cheer for literally everyone. On the other hand, far be it from her not to try out everything so she may spend a few days signing up for random things to try it because it looks like fun!
She'll also make an effort to check in on the people she spoke to during her broadcast! And check in on other CR as well.
The usual routine: The only routine Baku keeps to is checking in on her crew and "eating" at night. Now that she has a few people she's gotten permission from, she's making sure that they get a good night's rest and keeping her strength up.
But aside from that she can be found on the Iskaulit, or on various ships visiting people she's friends with.
Looking for: People she can take care of - she's really big on helping and doing whatever she can, so finding people who need her in some way is huge to her. Other non-humans. People who won't care what she is/won't be frightened of her.

Brief description: Ben is a mostly laid-back kind of guy, leaning more towards quietly moody. That is, when he isn't running head first into disaster. He can be a jackass, but he's a jackass with a heart of gold who will do the right thing, always. He has a cybernetic arm and eye that routinely malfunction and he is not shy in telling people about it or how he got them if asked.
Points of interest this month: Ben's first mission is to find a pair of glasses so he can see stuff god dang.
Other than that, he's definitely going to hip up the trivia stuff the most, because he's full of so much useless trivia he may as well put it to some use, even if it's in space. He'll also be looking into any fight clubs and etc because . . . yeah okay they're technically illegal but he sees the good in them, ie punching his frustrations out. He can be goaded into trying other stuff too, but those will be his aims this stop!
The usual routine: Ben is an early riser so he can be found on the Iskaulit and usually in the library pretty early. He also applied to be a bartender at Nami's bar so there's that - and either way he'll stop in to grab a beer before he heads back to his ship.
He also sleeps like shit and wakes up late at night and wanders, so he can be caught doing that, too.
Looking for: Ben is bad at friendship so people who will remind him that it exists and that it isn't a bad thing would be great. People who won't be turned off by his general jackassery or his shitty puns, folks who will bring out the secret nerd in him, people he can fight--maybe.

Brief description: Smug pilot well on his (reluctant) way to becoming a rebel war hero.
Points of interest this month: Han is happy to be a lone wolf, but might join the Starstrikers, because he likes to win >_>
Primarily he is interested in: RACING. Please race Han. He will do his damnedest to soup up any vehicle he can get his hands on and brag (possibly exaggeratedly) about his prowess. In fairness, he is a pretty skilled and experienced racer so it's not total bs.
Also, GAMBLING. He'll totally play innocent about not knowing the games for as long as he can get away with it, if it lets him fleece a few unsuspecting strangers. He probably won't cheat. Much.
I'm happy to plot and play and/or handwave all sorts of that stuff-- and he could probably be talked into other events, particularly if you can convince him you've got a good chance of victory.
The usual routine: I'd love to build up more CR for him-- cross-ship or on his own-- and get some stuff set up for the future. I keep meaning to have him propose races mid-drift but haven't got around to it, but this might be a good way to bring up the topic?
Looking for: Friends, frenemies, people who will indulge his bragging, people to flirt with, basically anything and everything. If any slightly shady types are looking for slightly shady friends, come say hey 8D

Thanks, Negan!Points of interest this month: This noob is not joining a team and if left to his own devices won't do anything particularly competitive, though he might be willing if someone can convince him there's a good reason. (Someone please talk him into archery competition!) BUT he will be way more comfortable doing outdoorsy stuff than being cooped up in a spaceship so look for him anywhere that seems a little more open. City-wise he'll do the deer in the headlights thing, probably.
Eventually he'll definitely do some hunting/fishing because at least that's not weird space stuff.
Looking for: IN PARTICULAR if anyone on the Tourist or who'd have reason to be there wants to do some stuff before he gets on the network proper and reconnects with his canonmates, I'd love the early setup for some cross canon stuff. Congrats, your new security offer is kind of hypervigilant and suspicious. Once he gets over the shell shock he'll do a good job, promise!
Otherwise i'm open to loads of things. It can be tough to get close to Daryl, especially since... well, he's not really used to people anymore, and strangers are mostly threats, but once you get on his good side he's a good friend, if a bit socially rough around the edges.

Brief description: Maggie is friendly enough but keeps to her work. She serves as the First Lieutenant of the SS Goldstone If anyone needs a medic you know where to find her.
Points of interest this month: Maggie would be pretty good at racing cars and she has a heck of a poker face so be ready to lose your money or otherwise. Maggie will also be hitting the beach.
The usual routine: Maggie typically sticks to the Med Lab on her ship, keeping everything up to date on the paperwork end for her Captain as much as possible. Otherwise she might be in the lounge reading a book and once a week she and Carl have a board game night. With Carol in the Fleet she also takes time to catch up with her and visit when she can, as Carol settles in.
Looking for: I'm happy to grow what cr I have but if anyone feels inclined to get their flirt on with Maggie without prior cr that's fine too! She's still happily attached to Glenn and misses him terribly but knows he won't be there when/if she goes back home anyway. :(

Notes: I try to reply to tags within 24 hours of receiving them but I also have a toddler so that doesn't always happen. I'm also on PST and I tend to get time to tag after the kiddo is in bed for the night which usually means most of you guys are asleep as well lol.
Character: Carol Peletier
Age and species: late 40s, human
Ship and augment: Heron, Security
Brief description: Before the zombie apocalypse, Carol was an abused housewife. Her POS husband got et pretty early on and since then she has come into her own as an extremely skilled warrior. She generally has no issue destroying zombies or killing people. She's trying to put on a show of being all meek and mild but the truth will come out eventually.
Points of interest this month: Carol's going to try to keep things chill and enter a pie baking contest. But then things will get too real. If you want to help Carol in her knock-down, drag-out melee of a baking competition let me know! I think part of this is going to include hunting wild boar so she can render her own lard for the crust and other extreme Barefoot Contessa-style antics
The usual routine: Carol is pretty quiet and tends to keep to herself. She likes going to the library and the greenhouse on the Iskaulit and likes to chat about books and cooking.
Looking for: Anybody who is able to see through her act and call her out will definitely raise a few notches in her eyes.

Age and species: approximately 20, human/galra hybrid (appears fully human)
Ship and augment: Huntress pilot
Brief description: Keith is usually a serious type, but, given the right situation, he can lighten up and have fun. He's also super awkward in social situations and prefers to avoid crowds and spotlights. However, he's really competitive, so give him something he feels confident in, and he'll definitely take you on. He's a bit of a diamond in the rough. A lot of potential, but not quite there, yet. He's really just a big derp if you give him a chance, now matter how much of a tough guy he might try to come across as.
Points of interest this month: Challenge Keith to all the races. Keith wants to race. ATVs, motorcycles, cars, planes... please. He might try his hand at some fighting stuff, too, but not a lot if things go a little hairy with Shiro's PTSD.
The usual routine: Keith tries to get in some training each morning in the Iskaulit gym. He sometimes brings his little snow leopard to the snow habitat or the pool (now that he knows she likes to swim). He visits the Blameless, the Bishop, and the Heron fairly often to meet up with Shiro, Ulaz, Pidge, and Hunk. He and Lance do meals together fairly often, and try to split shifts at the helm since Lance is also a pilot.
Looking for: ALL THE THINGS! Seriously. Keith needs friends. He's not great at making them. People need to be patient with him. If you can tolerate his moods and stick around, he'll be very happy. He has a bit of an abandonment complex, so he tends to keep people at a distance in the beginning. It's a very high emotional investment for him to get close to someone. For day-to-day stuff, training buddies are very welcome. Also, Lance probably wants some double dates. For this system coming up, feel free to challenge him to something... a race, a fighting match, all the contests. It'll be a good outlet for him.

Points of interest this month: He's signing up with the Green Gliders and focusing on racing and track and field. He'll also be entering his photos into whatever photo/art catagories they qualify for. Outside of sports, he'll be on the lookout for a new gun (even if it's team branded. Or because it's team branded!)
The usual routine: Prompto goes for runs on the Iskaulit or whatever planet they're visiting every morning. And chances are very good you can find him wandering around with his camera, snapping away at anything that catches his eye.

Brief description: Howard is a genius, playboy, philanthropist BLAH BLAH BLAH you've heard the speech. Mostly he's just offensive and loud, but underneath it all is an equally obnoxious if slightly quieter arrogant dick of a manchild. He wants to be your friend really!!!
Points of interest this month: I can't decide what team to make Howard but he's V COMPETITIVE so you know he'll do things. Especially anything that makes him look smart. I'm leaning towards Starstrikers idk hmu
The usual routine: SO his best friends are getting married on this system Captain Peggy and Captain Cap he is very hype to not have missed it. He'll basically be in a ridiculously good mood all month because of it and try to get everyone to his level of hype!!!
Looking for: Howard is arrogant and can come off patronizing frequently so I have no reservations about netting him neg cr. But he's also been on and off the Fleet a few times and will be quick to apologize if someone truly seems offended (usually.) That said he flirts with every waman, has no idea what to do with children or animals, and generally is way too excited to meet aliens. I'm not sorry but he will be soon. ALSO OF NOTE, if you are on the SS Bishop or Huntress then he will yap your ear off making sure his GIRLS are ok. He might also randomly stop by your mingles, and start poking around sorry about it. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep his Security Augment forever but I am very interested in him trying to fly without his Pilot Augment if anyone wants to give him a shot lmfao. He will be eyeing up every empty pilot slot longingly.
