Yep, that's the one. There are a few other places on it, but those are some of the bigger draws.

Your ship has shuttles docked in the cargo bay. Once you get in, you just have to set the destination.

Right! Shuttles.

Those feel a bit more like the gummi ship I'm used to flying around. It's smaller than these bigger ships too. I'll probably feel more comfortable in those things.

What about you? Do you think you could use a swim?

Oh. Um, I guess? I don't really swim much.

That's my rocket. I've traveled to all kinds of worlds before.

And you can always just dip your feet in? I don't have anything to swim in so I think that might be what I do too. It could be fun.

[ True to his word, Carl is waiting in the loading dock on the Iskaulit not long after. ]

[So there is a moment where Sora notices the eye. And it's pretty clear that is what he is noticing because his eyebrow lifts a bit in surprise, but what there isn't is a drawn out moment of pity or concern. He doesn't want to make a big deal about something that is probably very painful.

Instead, he offers Carl a friendly smile.]

Hey... [Now there is a pause, because he realizes Carl didn't introduce himself] Uh... So I don't think I caught your name?

[ People notice it, it's a thing that happens. He's learned to ignore the looks for the most part. Carl gets it- most kids aren't missing half their face, it's startling. ]

Oh, shit. Sorry, I'm Carl.

Don't sweat it. I'm mostly happy you told me about the pool. Carl.

I used to go swimming all of the time but it's been a while.

I can't say I've been to the pool since we got it. It's down this way.

[ He nods his head down the hall, leading Sora toward the pool. ]

[Sora follows easily.]

Then I guess we both better make the most of it.

Sounds about right, yeah.

[ Carl opens the door to the pool, letting Sora go in first. It's a little bigger than he thought it was going to be. ]

Wow!

This is pretty cool. [He really is going to have to find some kind of swim trunks or something soon. Right now, he goes over to the edge of the pool and starts to take off his shoes.]

It's really going to help keep active too.

There's plenty of that around here.

[ Carl chooses a spot at the pool's edge and takes off his shoes and socks and rolls up his jeans. The water is cool, but not freezing, which is nice. ]

So, what kinds of worlds have you visited?

Oh all kinds. There have been desert worlds, spooky worlds, an underwater world.

I've met a lot of really cool people. People I'm happy to call friends.

Like you. [Yeah, you're cool. And a friend now. Deal with it.]

I mean, you helped me out even though I just arrived. We started out strangers until you made the choice to reach out and help me. You deserve some credit for that, right?

The fleet is a community, if people didn't reach out, what would we be?

And I wouldn't know where this awesome pool is! Both of those things sound terrible.
