[ Waking up, Hermione knows she recognises this place. She knows what the Marsiva looks like and the first thing she does is lie there, something soft and fond on her face, something warm settling over her. She touches the bed, reaches up, her fingers distant from the feeling, but... It feels a little bit like coming home. She had lived on the Fleet for so long that she just knows it, and the urge to wrap herself around the blankets and laugh is almost a little overwhelming.
Sitting up, she tucks herself on the headboard of the bed, pulling her knees up to her chest before she turns on the camera. ]
Hello, everyone. I... I'm not sure who might remember me, but it looks like I'm back. Did I miss anything important?
ISKAULIT
[ As soon as she's shuffled, the first thing Hermione does is make her way to the library on the Iskaulit. She makes herself home there, wandering around and drinking in the familiar books, feeling warm and content and happy to be surrounded by something she likes so very much. She spends hours in there and can be found at any point, wrapping herself in the familiarity of something she had loved so deeply when she had first been here.
The next thing she spends her time on is the garden she had set up with Anders. She was nervous stepping inside, but seeing it almost like it was - there's new things, of course, and she's sure someone else had been taking care of it - makes her feel warm, her hands dropping down to her side as she looks it over. She's not entirely sure it's her place to storm in and start to take care of things, but she wanders up and down the plants all the same, making sure they're growing well, that there are no weeds, nothing to worry about.
Otherwise, she can be found walking around the ship, enjoying the quiet, relearning the layout and the bars and everything that is so familiar to her, fondness on her face as she goes. ]

Iskaulit
Once that's taken care of, he programs one of the shuttles to take him to the Iskaulit. He isn't sure if the library is still there, but he has to at least attempt to find it. If nothing else, perhaps her scent will still linger amongst those of the books and the couches where so many hours were spent together.
As he gets closer, his footsteps slow down and he can feel his heart racing. What will he do if she's not there? It's not something he's thought about, let himself think about. However, he's no coward and there's only one way to really know for sure. And no, he will swear on Ifrit's fire that his hand is not shaking as he touches the doorframe to enter the library that once belonged to the woman he loves. Even still he can say that.]

Surely it hasn't been that long. Months, maybe. Not weeks, not quite that short, but...
It takes her a little bit of time to realise she's not exactly alone, so wrapped up in her own enjoyment of the situation, in the fact that she's home away from home all over again, but when she hears the library door properly open and someone step inside she pauses, moving from around the shelves to see who it is. When she does, her heart stops, eyes widening as she gazes over at him, unsure what to do or say.
Will he remember too? Will he have forgotten? Will he know her? ]
Ignis?

And then there's her voice. He can hear the question and the corners of his mouth turn up in a smile as he steps forward to take her in his arms.
Pride. Be. Damned.]
I'd wondered if I dreamed you when I returned.
no subject
Her own arms wrap around him as soon as she's close enough, pressing her face into his chest and squeezing him gently, trying to swallow back the sudden urge to burst into tears, as silly as it is. It's such a relief, but he's here, and he feels exactly the same, sounds the same, and she's so, so happy.
Hermione's laughter is a little bit broken, but light - happy. So, joyously happy. ]
I didn't think you'd be here at all.
no subject
He can feel the tension in her body slowly start to melt the longer they embrace, but there's no mistaking the sadness lacing her voice, despite the laughter and happiness there as well.]
I didn't expect to return to Eos. I was quite content here at the time.
[An understatement, to be sure, but needs to be said.]
It's wonderful to know that you've not replaced me.
no subject
Losing him had been one of the most painful things to happen to her, and her hands grip at the back of his shirt as she presses into him, doing her best to breathe properly and not act like an absolute idiot. ]
I was happy to be here too.
[ Leaning back, she glances up at him, drinking in his features. She knows he can't see her, but it doesn't matter - he knows how to look at her if he wants to. ]
No one could replace you.
no subject
He knows the force of his own feelings, since he's being honest with himself. And while he was aware of the fact that she cared for him a great deal, this is more than she's expressed before now.
He can feel the heat of her look, can tell just how close she is to crying, and he knows he must do something more to help her. Without speaking, he leans down and kisses her, easily finding her lips with his own, despite his lack of sight.]
That's good to know. However, I would like to continue this one the settee.
no subject
She's about to say more when Ignis leans down and kisses her, and for a moment all her problems seem to fade away. One of her arms move up and settle around his neck, holding him close as she pushes herself up so she can reach him better. It's a good kiss, making her feel warm and happy, and when she leans back she smiles, her hands lifting to stroke over his face tenderly.
Hermione decides she wants to kiss him again. She could kiss him a lot, actually. ]
Shall we, then? It hasn't changed at all since we were last here.
no subject
It's nice when she relaxes more into him. Although, kissing her, he's found, always results in her relaxing so much that he might be holding her up more than her standing up. And he would never begrudge her that, since she is the type of person to overwork and forget to do things like eat or sleep much.]
It seems to have been left alone for a while. Have you not been here as of late?
no subject
She wants to indulge that. Hermione has never had a relationship where she did that, where she could just lean into them and share something intimate without her feeling like there was something dangerous about it, something she had to give up for it.
Reaching down, she takes his hand and squeezes it gently. ]
I'm not sure how long it's been since I was last here, honestly, Ignis.
no subject
And no matter what, the best part is that the fact that he's returned and so has she—from what he can tell of her words—and they don't have to start from scratch. Or otherwise.
Once they are seated, he puts an arm around her shoulders and laces the fingers of their joined hands. He knows there are things that will require their attention, but that will be later. Now is time for just the two of them.]
It appears that I've been gone from here for roughly seven months. A great deal has changed in that time. [A pause.] Prompto is currently dating Kaname Buccaneer.
no subject
Settled down, Hermione shifts so she can rest against Ignis' side, cuddling into him and letting herself relaxing in the warmth of the familiar for a moment. It doesn't matter that there's a whole world out there; all that matters is that they're together right now, sharing this moment.
Of course, then she hears just how long it's been and she sits up. ] Seven months? [ She shifts, leaning up to look at him again. ] And Prompto has a girlfriend now?
no subject
It would seem son, on both counts. Kaname Buccaneer. I don't know if you met her, but I knew her after my injury. She's a kind woman, and he seems rather taken.
no subject
She turns her head to look at Ignis, frowning. ]
I'm not sure I met her, but if he's happy then I'm glad for him. I think he deserves something good like that.
no subject
And for that, he's relatively grateful. It leaves a lot of the awkwardness about time passage somewhere else.]
He does, but so does she. She is a good person who was attempting to help others last I checked. I've yet to run into her, but I suppose I will do that.
[He leans down to kiss her lips softly.]
When I'm done here.
no subject
Her eyes dart up to Ignis and she stops, softening. It makes the ache inside of her seem... Smaller, somehow. He does. ]
Maybe I'll go and see her as well. I'd like to see more people here - it must have changed. I don't even know who is on my old ship anymore.
[ But then she's getting kissed and she blinks, pausing, before she shifts and wiggles a little so she can lean up, her hand on his cheek and her lips pressing against his own. ]
Are you planning on being done soon?
no subject
[And when she leans into him and returns his kiss, all thoughts of leaving from his current position are pushed far, far away. She is what his world is centered on for that moment in time.]
No, no I don't.
no subject
[ Which... Is something they should probably talk about, at some point at least, but... She doesn't quite have the energy to try and force any kind of conversation when they've both just come back.
Instead, she lifts her hand, touching his face. ]
I quite like the sound of that.
no subject
A double date.
[You opened that door, Hermione. Well, no, maybe he did, but he wasn't sure that she'd walk through it.]
You're saying that you'd like to be able to tell others that we are exclusive then.
no subject
It's time for her to use that Gryffindor bravery that she's been using as a crutch for so long. ]
... I think I would like it, if it was something you wanted.
no subject
He turns his head in silent thought, letting her words stew for a moment.]
I haven't pressed for more from you, Hermione, because of how things have progressed. I would like to say that we are exclusive with one another, especially since you're the only woman I have those sort of feelings for.
[The only one he's ever had them for, if he's honest.]
Iskaulit!
[She doesn't recognize Hermione, of course, but she can pick up that she's familiar with this place. At this point, Naoto is willing to take any leads she can get.]
I have to admit; this library has surpassed even my expectations.
no subject
It's always nice to meet someone new. ]
It's small, but it's a work of love.
