Got someone you want to try out before you app? Well this is the post for it! Feel free to use anything that fits in the setting of Drift Fleet! Want to play bumper shuttles? Want to go wild in a med bay? Play around with the current plot? Have at it!

Threads from the Test-Drive may be made game "canon" but DO NOT count toward AC!

FOR NEW PLAYERS: You DO NOT NEED an invite to participate in the TEST DRIVE! If you decide to APP into the game, ONLY THEN will you need an invite from a current player!

I'm not sure, I just woke up here- the same as you, I'm guessing? I've looked around, and I can't find a way out. Not one that I can see, anyway.

[ He didn't ask, but Riku doesn't really think much on the matter. Kadaj can take it or not. ]

They have force fields everywhere.

[Which is the only explanation he has for not being able to escape through the ventilation system.]

But what do they want with us? Why take hostages if you don't have any demands?

[He...knows a thing or two about hostages, after all. They're either soldiers, which they know, or lures. He's not a lure for Mother. She would just make another if he failed.]

I wouldn't be able to tell you. I tried breaking into another area and it didn't work. Seems like we're sealed in here.

[ Riku shakes his head. He can't say for sure what the situation is, or why them. ]

[He offers Riku a grunt of frustration before reaching out his left hand to the side, trying to once again will his sword into existence, but only grunts in pain and shakes his head.]

It didn't work for me, either. I guess they don't want us to be armed, we're more likely to revolt that way.

You have to know who to fight to revolt.

[Which just meant they needed to be patience, right? He smiled, though. They may have taken his sword, but that was only one of the abilities Mother had given him.]

If they didn't want us to, they should have tried harder.

There's got to be a reason they didn't.

[ Riku crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall. ]

It's not poor planning if they brought us here without remembering how we got here in the first place.

[Mother's will could get into humans, make them do and want things for her. Maybe whatever they'd done to them had a similar effect...]

Maybe they have a way of assuring that doesn't happen. [His tone shifted somewhat, sounding slightly more adult as the topic shifted.] That happens, you know.

How do you think they did it?

[ He's willing to trade theories so long as it's serious. ]

[There are a lot of things he doesn't know, but this bothers him more than most.]

...I think we'd need to know why we're here, first.
