(a little of September but mostly) October Star System

Ever wonder where your online shopping returns go?

oops...

CALENDAR:
→ The fleet will be in this star system from 9/25 to 10/27.
→ We will not be posting a mingle for this system - please feel free to post your own!

The Landfill at the End of the Universe.
After going through Drift with the cargo-- and perhaps some trials and tribulations as well-- Passengers find themselves in the territory of a new star. It seems like as soon as they pass into the gravitational field of this system, they have to deal with junk. Ridiculous amounts of it. There ought to be meteor fields and yet instead there’s just a messy few rings of refuse ranging from large, half-deconstructed ships to meteor-sized chunks of compressed landfill matter. Try not to get hit!

There are a few rocky and unusable planets in this system, but the one with all the traffic is a planet covered in orange and white gases that becomes clearer as people venture closer...

The Baruut System.
Once upon a time, this system was a dump -- in the literal sense. Believing that no one would want to settle in a system so far removed from other known systems at the time, people, companies, and governments alike all decided to put it to some kind of good use: holding all of their trash.

That was just over a millennium ago. Over the centuries, closer systems were discovered, and Baruut became more and more of a known location -- a trashy location, to be fair, but still convenient. First there were outposts, then small settlements. More and more people moved in, and while some cleaning projects and attempts were made, ultimately those who call this place home have come to think of the debris as just part of the charm. Settlements became towns, towns became cities, and the rest, as they say is history. So, you could say that the trash is just a part of what makes these people who they are!

Home sweet heap!

... Besides, other systems are still dropping their refuse here. Maybe it isn't as frequent of an occurrence as it was in the past, but it still feels like it happens constantly. Most times, they at least have the courtesy to land and dump their things in a controlled manner, somewhere that it won't matter too much to locals, but not everyone is that conscientious. Sometimes, you can still see debris falling into orbit, crashing into the distance somewhere! Some of the locals turn these into spontaneous spectacle shows. Some might complain that their fields or crops almost got smashed. Oh well, in a way, it's kind of like free stuff, isn't it?

If You Can Dream It, You Can Build It!
On a planet like this, with so much scrap lying around, a lot of people might see... potential. Scientific potential, mechanical potential, creative potential -- no matter the inspiration, you will absolutely find people here who will gladly put any kind of scrap or ~thing~ toward some kind of project or other wonderful use. What about you? Have you wanted something major that you just haven't been able to get your hands on? Have you wanted to upgrade your ship's arsenal yourself, since Atroma doesn't seem to want to give you the upgrades you like? Do you need a super-specialized piece of equipment that you haven't been able to find, or something from home that you haven't found a replacement for? Well, we have good news for you!

During this system, if you want a major engineering project, a major ship change, or some other sort of specialized thing (or things) done, we will let you have it!! We are not joking! You can have new guns for your ship! You can have fancy weapons for yourself! You can have that super cool science doo-dad that you had back home but couldn't find anywhere around here!

Things you can get include but are not limited to:
  • Guns for the ship
  • guns/weapons for self
  • Specialized/expensive/otherwise unavailable lab or medical equipment
  • Very specific ship parts (shields, better engines, etc etc)
  • Specialized cooking gear
  • Furniture, an art piece, or some other decorative... thing
  • Slapdash-tech ways to replicate something magical from home

If you want to have it made, you will be able to find someone in this system who can make it happen. It might not be cheap or easy, and it might take the entirety of your stay here in the system to complete (and please, do your best to stay within reason for both things) but it can be done. You are probably going to have to get creative with regards to the ultimate outcome! And please remember - this place is a literal junkyard, it's probably not going to be pretty or 100% exactly what you want! So, here's how you can get this going: Leave us a comment below with what you'd like to obtain, and what you think would be the best way to go about it. We'll start a conversation, and see where it takes us. Again, we want to be clear: we're ultimately going to let you have whatever you like!! (within a very generous margin of reason) It's just going to take some working together to make it feasible, and we're ready to work with you!

**CLARIFICATION: You do not have to be an engineer, or have an engineer on your ship, to take advantage of this. It simply means that you will be finding someone on the planet to help you engineer the thing you want. ANYONE in the fleet can find someone in the system to help them make their project a reality, so take advantage! Live your dreams!!

    The Dropoff.
Upon entering the system, Atroma will send a text message to captains of any ships that signed for and picked up the colorful cargo in the last system. This text will contain a set of coordinates, and the words: "Drop-off point". Pretty self-explanatory! The location is a parked ship at one end of a junk-filled valley, away from any other signs of civilization.

The ship itself is pretty nondescript - simplistic design, no fancy colors to speak of, a little bit rusty... and it seems like there's nobody on board! However, when someone approaches with the cargo, a helpful little robot will open the door, zoom down the ramp, hold out a tablet for you to sign and fingerprint scan to confirm delivery, and then effortlessly heft cargo into its arms and zoom back inside. The door will slam shut behind him. ... That's it! You're done! Congrats!

The silence might be a little bit worrying - where's your promised reward? Is Atroma paying attention?! Was this a trick after all?!? But never fear, when you return to your ship, your reward will be waiting for you! Here's what you'll get, depending on the state of your cargo:

  • Your ship never picked up the cargo and have nothing to deliver:
  • You won't even get the text message with the coordinates, so... don't even worry about it! No reward for you. BUT ALSO... the next time you check your bank account, you will see that you did not get your last paycheck! There will be a note on your account claiming that this is a glitch, and reassuring you that the accounting department is working tirelessly to correct the problem. :) (They're not, actually. So sorry.)

  • You deliver boxes that have clearly been opened/tampered with:
  • The little robot friend won't even notice the difference, he'll just take your signature/prints, pick up the boxes, and leave, like normal. Upon returning to your ship, your crew will receive a text message: "Thank you for helping us with our delivery! However, the cargo appears to have been damaged in transit. Because of this, we have subtracted a repairs fee from your payment. We appreciate your understanding in this matter." You'll still get a somewhat hefty payout in bonus credits, but it certainly won't hold a candle to what you could have gotten!

  • You deliver boxes that are completely empty (perfectly resealed, or not): Again, the little robot notices no difference, takes the sign-off and the boxes, and leaves. Upon returning to your ship, your crew will receive a text message... that's just a simple frowny-face. :( You won't lose any credits, and your regular paycheck will still come in on time, but you won't be receiving any kind of reward for your "efforts". NOTE: This is for boxes that are COMPLETELY empty!! If you decide to keep a ribbon or ten for yourself, Atroma isn't going to notice! You'll get your reward based on whether or not the box was tampered with (see above), perfectly resealed, or completely unopened (see below).

  • You deliver completely unopened boxes OR You deliver boxes that have been perfectly resealed by an engineer / lab support I B augmented passenger: Thank you for your assistance, Atroma really does appreciate it! When you return to your ship, waiting outside of your bedroom door is... a gift basket!! This gift basket contains:
→ Three (3) gumballs with the Atroma logo on them (Don't worry - these are actual gumballs, promise! But feel free to be suspicious anyway~)
→ A slice of cake - delicious and homemade, and luckily, your character’s favorite kind.
→ One of the following: A candle, a fancy vase, a coffee mug, a pint glass, a wine glass, a martini glass, or a stylish clock
→ A pack of colored hot chocolate - it’s a super bright color when made! Pick: pink, red, blue, or purple.
→ There will also be a card: "Thank you" is written on the outside, signed with a black spade and a red lipstick print. On the inside is a paper copy of a receipt for a jaw-dropping amount of credits.

How many credits is the ultimate payout, you ask? We won't give a specific number, for the sake of RP pretendy funtimes ease, but we will say this: If you wish to purchase a second upgrade for yourself or your ship this month, you will have the extra credits to do so. If doing so, please fill out 2 separate lines for your 2 upgrades when filling out the upgrades spreadsheet. Including a (1) and (2) in your name fields would be helpful too, if you please!

Alternatively, if you want to put those credits towards a custom item in this system (see the previous sections), you'll certainly have an advantage here. Otherwise, you can stockpile your credits and save them for a rainy day, go on an all-out shopping/gambling spree in this system or a future system, find an exchange station on a future planet to turn them into hard currency so you can swim around in a pool of coins... You know, whatever suits your style! Sky's the limit.

    POINTS OF INTEREST.
    THE ARENA
What kind of crazy junk planet would this be if it didn’t have a giant arena for fighting? You can find a variety of contests for people to participate in, watch, and bet on. Because, of course, there’s gambling.

    Options:
  • One-on-one or two-on-two fights
  • Man vs horrible beastie monster creature fights
  • Monster vs monster fights to gamble on
  • ... Okay, so everything gets gambled on not just that but still
  • Did we mention lots of gambling? Like. A ton. Bookies are numerous.
  • Oh, and robot vs robot fights, for the engineering-inclined~ (also gambling)
  • Prizes are money, fame, and other fabulous awards.

If you really feel like it, you are free to assume whoever is helping you build your crazy engineering project won't help you unless you win an arena match of some sort! Or maybe it's how you're going to earn the credits to pay them? Or you win their help by winning a bet… you know… because gambling. Up to you, dear player.

For glory! For honor! For... a whole boat load of credits!!

Do you want obstacles in your arena? Go for it. Weapons allowed? Sure! There are fights where that's just fine. However you want to structure your fights, you can! Pretty much anything goes out here... But if you do want to ask us first, just to be on the safe side or just in case you're not quite sure of something, go ahead and drop us a line.

    THE CLIFFS OF KNORST
The Knorst Range is the tallest and longest above-water mountain range in this system (and its neighbors). That alone is impressive, attracting hikers, mountaineers, and other outdoorsy types well enough in its own right.

Imagine this with a little more… metal debris scattered around it.

However, there's an even more impressive sight within, just slightly to the west of its center region… A very long time ago, during a particularly massive junk drop, the entire fleet of junker ships inexplicably lost control and fell out of orbit. The impact and resulting explosion was enough to rattle the entire range, and created a massive crater of a valley, with sheer, steep walls all the way around it. That junk and debris-filled valley is now known as Knorst-Heart Canyon -- and the beautiful, multicolored, sleek walls all around it are known as The Cliffs of Knorst.

Knorst-Heart Canyon is not only beautiful, it's also a popular vacation destination! … And a popular salvaging destination, if that's more your style. Over the centuries, the valley has seen a lot of changes, and these days, the people who have chosen to live there are some of the most friendly and welcoming people you'll meet in the system. They're more than happy to show tourists, adventurers, or salvagers around the canyon, whether you're here for pleasure or business matters little to them. Careful, though - they like to try to convince people to settle down and stay. It's such a pretty area, after all!

If you feel up to the challenge, the Cliffs of Knorst are certainly that - a heck of a challenge!! If you're rock-climbing, all-terrain vehicle driving, or just simply hiking, you're going to have your work cut out for you. Seriously. You can probably consider this your allotted exercise for, like, a year. It's a lot. But it's beautiful, so it's worth it. Check out some crazy rock formations all throughout the Knorst Range! Check out some water-cut valleys and smaller canyons! Go cave spelunking, if you feel brave enough!

See all kinds of beautiful scenery just like this!

    ALLOY LAKE
Another popular natural attraction in Baruut is Alloy Lake - a huge body of fresh water - almost a sea, by Earth standards! - surrounded by smaller cliffs and sparse forests. Alloy Lake isn't just popular because of its size, though. It also happens to be... green!!

    Take a swim in a blue-green swirl!

Way back when, this lake used to be just as blue as any other body of water you might find on this planet. That changed after all the trash unloading began... Enough metal and processed junk stayed in the water long enough for even the slowest of chemical changes to occur, and copious - really, excessive - amounts of copper have tinted the water a beautiful, sparkling blue-green that stands out in a gorgeous contrast to its surroundings. Though the metal and debris have mostly been fished out long before now, and protections are in place to keep it from either losing its color or somehow getting contaminated, this water is not safe to drink. But - it's safe to swim in! Many locals come on vacation, claim a spot on the shore, and have some waterside fun. You can take boats out, snorkle or dive to the bottom of the lake, or just play around and have a great time. You can even fish! Many aquatic species (and plants!) have adapted to the high levels of copper and thrive here.

    SHOPPING:
You have found the world’s biggest, in-person eBay store. There might actually be some good stuff in here that can be useful. But, you have to find it among all the other junk being peddled. Check out that hookah/coffee maker combination. It even makes julienne fries… if it doesn’t break first. Do you need a banana peeler? You can find one two stalls down, but don’t question the condition. It just needs a good scrubbing, and it’ll be good as new!

These people love to barter. Accepting a price at face value is almost an insult. Start low ("Would you take some pocket lint?"), and wind up somewhere in the middle at a good price! Remember, an item is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. The sellers are also willing to accept items in trade, so there’s an option if you didn’t get that nice credit bonus for a successful delivery.

    JOBS:
Want to open up your own shop? Then open up your own shop! Don't feel like going through the effort, or nothing else we've mentioned has reached out and grabbed you as a money-gaining opportunity so far? Try one the following!

Hired Muscle - Where there’s money flowing, people always have need for bodyguards.Or intimidators. Or both! Maybe you need to keep people out of somewhere. Maybe you need to drag them in somewhere...
Fighters - Fame and glory could be yours if you sign this waiver and don’t blame us when your face gets beaten in. (See the arena section for more details!)
Medics - The health industry is absolutely thriving here. Nurses, doctors, anyone who knows their way around a first aid kit-- all can earn a modest stipend for helping out. Medics aren't only needed near the arena, either - engineering, salvaging, and mechanical work is all pretty dangerous as well! People get hurt a lot on this planet. Give 'em a helping hand, won't you?
Salvaging - Maybe you don't feel (or just plain aren't) mechanically inclined, but you still wanna make some bucks around here. Go salvaging! Go grab some spare parts, turn them in for money! People will buy all kinds of things around here. One person's trash is another person's missing piece for that brand new multi-powered dual-sided engine combustor powered blasto... thingy. Or something.
Laypeople - Shop clerks, cooks, dishwashers, labor, you name it. This planet may be a former dumping ground, but it's turned into a real, thriving home for these people, and people always need some extra help with things around their businesses after all!

    RECREATION:
There are plenty of recreational activities to get yourselves into here! In addition to things outlined above, there's also:
Arena fights - As mentioned previously, there are several different kinds of fights taking place at the arena venue. Man vs man, man vs monster, monster vs monster, robot battles, etc. Passengers can join the thriving gambling community and place bets, or they can take part directly as a fighter or mad engineer.
Gambling den - The gambling problem on this planet doesn’t just stop at fights. There are various races one can bet on as well as card games… so many card games. Some of the games actually resemble Earth casino classics like roulette and blackjack, but others are so completely foreign that the rules need explaining five times. The most popular card game is called Syuri, and the rules will have a special spin that differs from person to person. One opponent might play it like poker, another might make the game closer to Crazy Eights, and a third may change the rules halfway through so you’re playing Go Fish and losing. What, did you really think these people wouldn’t cheat?
Junker racing - Put those slapdash engineering skills of yours to the test by building something out of old ship debris and racing it against other people! Races range from simple racetracks with strict no-contact rules, to all-out spike-filled weapons-ready free-for-all motor fests. So really, it's like soapbox racing, but people die! Sometimes. Sometimes…

Hello mods! Dropping two personal things here, the Blameless will have a comment later after the crew discusses stuff.

-First, Shiro will have his new arm made by Allura, Pidge and Ulaz! They bought some parts at the last system so here they can finish. It won't do anything crazy except for being quite strong and durable.

-This one goes in name of the cast so we don't spam you. It affects Shiro, Pidge, Lance, Keith, Allura (doing it with the help of Biffy who is Communications) and Lotor (will be hiring someone on the planet). When we arrived to the game, some functions of their armors were nerfed (communications and scanning) so we would like this chance to fix that! In canon the armors communicate with each other, so that would be mean the main fix besides the scans, but I'd also like to know if they could communicate directly with the ships after this (if they can't that's cool we'll take the regular fix).

    Thank you!

    CRAZY PROJECTS

    [personal profile] luckyescape 2018-09-27 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
So Freya is going to focus on a few things and it will vary by what she finds. The Ironbull has also offered to help her search for parts and be her muscle through parts of her ship related endeavors.

So, the ship related things will be a slight weapons upgrade per Ironbull's request to Freya but it's going to be very MillenniumFalcon like because Freya is a nerd.

She also wants to see if it's possible to make their food suck less because she has heightened taste buds and it sucks. This will be harder for her and might end up half complete or something like that where she has some parts but won't be able to finish without paying more credits or something because she'll have to get help and honestly has no idea what she's doing.

Her last idea is to make a robot animal for their ship as its mascot. She already started making a robot dog but I figured she'd collect items for this and not assemble it this month. But since she'll be riffling around junk yards anyway (because that's fun for her) she's going to pick up what she can get and likely fill the Heron with a lot of useless things that she thought looked cool.

Anyway, those are her ideas. What she actually finishes tho in that time, to be realistic might be different. At least 75% of her time will just be looking for parts since she figures she can finish installing things after they leave.

LASER CANNONS FOR THE TWIN ROSES

    [personal profile] unbearablynaive 2018-10-01 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
So! Being as how we've been without a Security officer for entirely too long, the Twin Roses engineers (Kitty and Vision) would like to build some awesome space weapons. We're thinking laser cannons because it's easier to find a power source than ammo most of the time, and also because that's what Tony Stark seems to like and ergo what Vision is probably most familiar with. So essentially working together we will want:

    1. An energy source
    2. An awesome super weapon, powered by the above energy source

I'll be having Vision actively scavenging for basically the entirety of this plot for this. Does this sound doable?

    CRAZY PROJECTS

Hiya mods! Fun place :3 I had two things I was curious about:

1.) Would something like a shipwide teleporting system be feasible? I'm thinking as a emergency precaution Flug might install a dial in a few doorways that allows a Drifter to instead pop into a different doorway of their choosing (but only on their ship), it could lock onto the Red Fish crews augment signatures. This could just be a silly way for the crew to accidentally bump into eachother more, but also if someone is being pursued down one if our long hallways or needs to get off the ship quick, it provides some fun tactical opportunities. As you said this place is junky, i definitely expect malfunction hijinks.

2.) Does the mist from Drade have an expiration date? I had Flug collect as much of the stuff as he could so he had a project to tinker with these past few months. The idea would have been to modify them into capsules that released the gas (and its fear toxin effects) when it made contact with its target after being shot out of a projectile weapon. I'd be happy to limit its uses or potency. By no means do I even need this built for this event, but since I planned on eventually asking anyway, this seemed like a good time.

Now Flug IS helping the private network project. Seeing as he selfishly refuses to donate any money, only his time and expertise, he hopefully might have enough funds for this left over but I totally understand if you'd rather I limit down to just one request.

We kept a fair bit if our ribbon if using it helps any of this stuff be more successful o7

TBH they're pretty tame since, like, Scotty isn't here. I would like to know if the following might be doable for the Tourist:

    1. A graviton field generator for shielding purposes. It would need to be manually activated, deactivated, and controlled, but it would also be better at protecting the ship from pirates with lasers/crazy-high atmospheric pressures/idek, space monsters.

    2. Improved scanners for the communications station. More accurate measurements of distance, trajectory, mass, composition, etc. (I honestly don't know how to make this request more exciting, I'm so sorry.)

    3. A REPLICATOR. Small and prone to error, not great at replicating organic compounds, pretty useful when it comes to reproducing inorganic objects (although the reproduced objects tend to be flimsier and prone to malfunctioning if they're meant to actually do things).

Hello again mods! Sorry I'm almost spamming you with all this. I'll give the network plotting post a few more days for people to catch before bringing it officially here. Meanwhile, for the Blameless~

    1. Basic shield and guns. Nothing fancy, just back-up in case they have system problems, they lose the security officer or Atroma feels like messing with them. Anyone should be able to just press a button.

    2. A slot car track. Again, nothing fancy or special. Just the toy with some lights maybe. A few more crazy turns on the track of the picture, but a toy at the end of the day. Just... a big one.

    SO.

Tyrion is going to want to make THREE THINGS while he is here, and get started on a fourth.

    1. More laser guns/weapons. He loves laser guns and he wants all his friends to have one so when they are taken by space pirates again they are properly armed. Some of them do not use guns though so he wants to make laser otherthings.

    2. Laser guns for the FIRST BREATH. Seriously how many times are they attacked? Too many. Laser guns! For the ship!

    3. If they are going to go about with laser guns he wants to have better shielding for when people fire back at them.

    And 4.

... he wants to find a way to get them away from the Atroma. Is it possible for him to find parts, and INSPIRATION, on how to do that here?

HELLO AGAIN HERE I AM WITH THE POWER OF TEAMWORK!

So! I made a plotting post and there are quite a few people willing to help with this. The idea is to create a network of their own that they can install in any device they buy in the future, with the corresponding inscription to keep it safe from Atroma and communicate with the Interceptors.

I hope the money is enough! I want to point out there are quite few nerds on the post willing to do some serious work on it, including the two Panem CRAUs who have experience hiding information, plus Lup who would be using their communication spells to give it a boosts, so I hope that helps lowering the costs of the stuff they must hire/buy on the system.

TWO OF THEM because I don't wanna make separate posts

    [personal profile] wallcrawler 2018-10-24 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
CRAZY PROJECT ONE Looma would like very much to get all those guns they've been hauling around in the Biship cargo hold since like a year ago finally installed on the ship and operational. Just make that thing one big flying weapons platform and confuse anyone trying to make sense of the ship names ("Why's the one named for a man of the cloth more heavily armed than something called Bloodsport?"). Frankly she'd try to get even more installed here, but if that's a little too ridiculous we can say it's not possible due to either time restraints or resource restrictions, and she could opt to get the ship's power supply a small upgrade as well to help power all the extra artillery she's mounting on the hull.

CRAZY PROJECT TWO is actually comparatively less crazy- Peter wants to get somebody to upgrade the obstacle course on the Iskaulit. Nothing too drastic, but get some automation all up in there so that the course can randomly configure itself and move parts of it around and such. Y'know, make it a little more fun and challenging (not to mention more time-efficient, so nobody has to move everything around themselves).

On a logistical note I wanna clear it with the owner first, but if that doesn't work out he'd still wanna set one up of his own elsewhere on the Iskaulit, so I figured it'd probably be good to drop the request off now anyway.

Hey mods, I know this is like, super late, but I've been rather occupied the last month and only now have an idea.

I'd like to make a small ATV-like ground vehicle the Goldstone can house in it's cargo area. Just something to help them get around on some planets with minimal walking and for hauling smaller pieces of cargo. Must also have a radio/music player. Bonus points for leather seats. :>

    How does that sound?

    10,000 years late- (Ha.)

    1. Little armored roombas (and hovering rover droids) for the first breath. Cleaning and security! And maybe a little Extra.

    2. Is there anything that can be created to override the autopilot command on the first breath? Like some kind of headset or helmet or other gear that someone could equip that can trick the system into recognizing a pilot augment?

    3. Her own personal datapad/device that probably is like a fancy ipad with holoscreens and the like?

    4. I'm not sure how to quantify this one, but some kind of small magitech device she can install onto the ship to protect it with her magic? So they'd have shields, but she'd be able to activate her own as a last resort, or a gravity spell, that kind of thing. She'd keep it subtle.

I do have a question that I should have asked a while ago, actually. A lot of different places we visit have casinos/more underhanded gambling dens etc etc. Do they get a lot of traffic along the same route that isn't the Fleet?

That is to say: is it plausible to run into the same people you may have completely cheated at cards against X amount of systems ago because they too have a habit of touring gambling dens?

So how does asking for the updates go? One person comments for the whole ship with a list of stuff? One update per crew member?

What about engineering for upgrades for parts a ship no longer has? For example, the Blue Fish no longer has shields as there's no engineer on board now. Would they be able to engineer or blow credits on getting shields outfitted for the ship so they don't need to have an engineer to have them, or would getting them still be dependent on having said engineer? I suspect it's the latter but I wanted to at least ask.

I don't need specifics per say, but Vash is still interested in terraforming information. This place seems to be full of tinkers and inventors and he would like to pick their brains. Particularly if they know anything about those gumballs that they used to help fix the transformer on the poison moon. He won't ask just anyone because this is the planet that they made the drop to, but if he suspects someone won't rat him out he's also curious if anyone knows anything about strange ribbons. He can always say he saw them on someone else's ship. Not his ship! Oh no! They would never open that box up and re-seal it! 8D

Also he's curious if anyone has heard of the Plants of his homeworld. If they have then what type of information have they heard of.

I am happy with a: he hears about general information about terraforming, but thought I'd ask in case he might come across something.

    Cargo

    [personal profile] passingthrough 2018-10-01 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
If they removed and hid a ribbon of each color but otherwise the cargo was intact and an engineer resealed it to look untouched would they fall under the second or fourth option? I'm guessing we're all fine either way. I just wasn't sure which way that should go.

Also, will the ribbons they removed stay with them or mysteriously vanish?

hey mods!!! a bit of a fun-weird situation has cropped up, so Taako's player and myself were wondering-

what's the law enforcement like on the planet? does one even exist?

if that's a yes, are they quick to respond, or do they take their sweet time showing up when... magical shenanigans are disturbing the peace?

and how would the local populace react if, say, some sort of giant display is strung up in a plaza to dance and explode...? (no harm or casualties, just a flashy interruption of normal society, and probably a mess.) basically we wanna know if someone's gonna immediately get shot or if a getaway chase is in their future.

    Question about Alloy Lake

If one were to dive to the bottom, what sorts of things could they see there? Wreckage, junk, fish, any kinds of creatures or formations of note? Or do we have free reign to make that up?
