This is how it's gonna end...

After a long, intense two months, the Calibrations event is now officially ending. Thank you to everyone for making this event such a wonderful experience whenever Calibrations Time rolls around! It's always absolutely flooring how creative, expressive, and eager to share all of you are. And, well, being eager to expose your characters' innermost deepest thoughts and memories comes with the territory too, which just makes it all the more fun! ♥ You’re all wonderful. We really hope you all had as much fun as we did.

However... Calibrations won't be ending so quietly as it usually does. How would all of you like a brief window of opportunity to unleash a little bit of fury on the Marsiva~~?

→ BUT FIRST!!! Some housekeeping!
The event is ending, but if you have an ongoing thread with one of the trapped Interceptors (or wish to start a new one!) then by all means keep on going! And of course, If there are any questions you need answered, or any matters that need tidying up, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We’ll do what we can, always. As for all Calibration/mingle threads, everyone is welcome to continue tagging, and digging into other matters above the Marsiva in mingle threads and the like for as long as desired. Still, it may be a good idea to get in contact with people you're in Calibration threads with if you want to wrap things up, or find out how certain things go.

Many people have asked lately if we still accept backtags for activity, regardless of when the post/starter was posted - and the short answer is: YES! As long as the comments you are submitting for AC have been made within the current month, they will count toward AC for that month. The longer answer is: Yes, we accept backtags, but we reserve the right to ask for different (or extra) proof should you continue to use the same threads for AC after multiple months. We're happy to be a backtag-friendly game, but forward momentum is what keeps games going at all!

Couple more things:
  • Ships will be as you left them! Pets are fine, plants are fine, food is fine... All is well! They've been taking good care of your things while you've been Calibrating.
  • As of the Huge McLarge Shuffle Of Doom, which ICly occurs as stated below, all new crew members, drops, transfers, and rank changes are now live. Characters are of course free to notice all of these have happened upon waking up in their rooms.
  • There will be an IC post shortly! More on that below... You're not gonna want to miss this one~

→ So How Does It End?
Now that passengers have experienced Way More Than Enough during this event, and are coming away with a lot of crazy information from so very many different sources, they are being returned to their ships as if nothing had ever happened. …. Sort of.

For the first time since all of this craziness began, all passengers will wake up in their own beds, on their own assigned ships, in the middle of the night (12:01am to be exact). They'll find that their surroundings are completely back to normal. All of their valuables, pets, plants, collections, etc. will be exactly where they left them, no harm done. The Iskaulit and all of its facilities will also be intact, undamaged, and untouched.

New characters (all who apped during this event and therefore were not shuffled onto a ship prior to the start) will have been shuffled onto their ships at the same time, so they will also wake up in their brand new quarters on their assigned ship at the same time. But what would a shuffle be without confetti and pudding, you ask?! Don’t worry - the second the new crewmember steps out of their room and into the hallway, that all-too-familiar (to the rest of the fleet) shower of confetti will pour right over them, and there will be a cup of infamous delicious pudding sitting by their door. Hooray!

Veterans of Calibrations will be familiar with all of this - it's how it all usually ends, honestly. What they'll be missing is… a gift basket. Sorry, no fluffy blankets, butterscotch candies, quality spa soaps, or flamingo-printed ridiculousness this year! But… well, maybe you'll get something a little bit better~ Just not from Atroma...

    → Payback Time
Shortly, there will be a post from everyone's favorite meddling Interceptor adoptee, Zhade. He's got some good news about the captured Interceptors, and some even better news for you: there's a temporary break in the Marsiva's defenses! The question then will be: what would you like to do about that, dear Fleet~?
  • Many of you upgraded your ships' artilleries - either through purchasing upgrades, or crafting your own weaponry, especially over the last few systems. This might be your chance to do some damage - or at the very least, make 'em real mad!
  • While the break in defenses won't be the kind that would grant you physical access to the ship (nor will it last for very long at all), if you're the kind that doesn't have to breathe in space and/or can move very quickly, you're welcome to make your way over and get a closer look! Maybe you'll see something? Or maybe you won't - but maybe that'll be just as informative… (Don't be afraid to ask questions!!)
  • Feel like trying something else? Have a specific scenario in mind? Hit us with it in the comments below and we'll see what we can do for you~

This opportunity won't last long - ICly, only about a handful of minutes. After that time, defenses will be restored, the Interceptors will zip off, and then the fleet will officially begin drifting. OOCly, you can keep tagging the "attack" as long as you'd like - the mods will assess the cumulative damage done and… we'll keep you posted. :)

    ------------
The Drift Fleet is now officially drifting from March 1 until March 10! During this drift period, the Fleet will continue on its course as if it never got held up in the first place! Convenient! Feel free to refamiliarize yourself with the ships, the Iskaulit, meet your new crewmates, or find some way to cope with the fallout of what the heck all of you just went through. As always, there are your standard waystations now and then that are perfectly explorable, should you need to get out and stretch your legs for a bit.

Do try to have fun, yes? And, of course -- welcome home, dear Drift Fleet.

SO, Thor is going to pummel the Marsiva with lightning and his Stormbreaker hammer. He can breathe in space and he's done this before of course during the last aborted attempt on the Marsiva (minus the hammer). Anything I should know about this kind of attempt?

Also, he might try to get closer to try and see that one window they found last time, would he find anything if he tries this?

Can Loki sneak onboard while people are attacking and what could he possible find?
